Red Patches
I have small red patches above my right scar, im not too sure what it is?! I assumed it could be stitches not dissolved by why would it be above my scar?
It isnt sore to touch just looks odd as my left scar is healing soooo nicely!
Reckon i should send a pic to my surgeon and get their opinion?? xxx

Re: Red Patches
Have you put anything near your incisions that may have irritated ? It's always worth using your aftercare if you are worried . Are they dry patches? They are not hot or anything? Xxx

Don't forget you also have internal stitches as well. But a little unsure when you say patches? X

Re: Red Patches
Honestly, it's likely heat rash, the smallest about of friction and sweat can bring it on, no itchy or soreness. Keep an eye on it, and it it does start itching or get worse, speak to your clinic

Re: Red Patches
I've had the same just recently. I'm massaging my scars morning and night with a very rich oil and I think the days I've been whacking my bra back on without letting it really skin in has ended up giving me a rash. I'm thinking it's the heat/friction/sweat as the oil won't be letting my skin breathe properly.
Anyway, try not to worry. Give the clinic a call but it sounds like the same kinda little heat/sweat rash I've got. Try and air your boobs for a hour a day and keep cool xxx
