well ladies I'm out the other end can I just say; Wow what an amazing experience so far! The Hospital Group have been just perfect and made me feel so at ease that I went in very calm and excited :)
Mr Payne made a joke about being nervous showing me his shaking hands lol. I was first up so went in at 9:30am and gave been sleeping ever since. I just can't keep my eyes open lol. I'm so happy yahoo

I woke up in pain as apparently my blood pressure was low so couldn't give me much morphine which sucked Seems to be alright now tho.

Hey lovey how are you this am? The pain will subside to just discomfort soon. Are you going home today?
Morphine makes me sick, was never offered that. But hope your coping ok, it does get better.

Hi [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I've just arrived home and am planning to sleep...AGAIN haha. My back is killing me more than my boobs. I had a dizzy spell when I tried to get up for the first time in hospital and my blood pressure dropped right down again so they gave me the anti sickness injection. I just feel spaced out. Apparently the op took 2 and a half hrs. They feel ginormous atm but I know they've swelled right up as when I first woke up they fr.t perfect :)

Ahh bless ya, feeling dizzy is a pain, the ga just knocks you out, the sleep will do you well.
Mine are still swollen now 13 days on, so yep, you will be swollen for sure.

Hooray! Now put the phone down and get some rest, if you're sleeping, you're healing! Hope you're doing ok, keep on top of your pain meds, and drink plenty of water to flush out the GA

Thanks ladies I feel like a big baby but I'm struggling big time with the pain. I Have been drinking of water I promise and sleeping loads plus my hubby is being wonderful with the kids. Just got to get through this next week and hoping it'll ease off like everyone says :)

Aah Montana congrats hun!! Your avi is amazing. I hope you're managing ok with the pain. Don't worry about sleeping, sleep is the best medicine.
I had really low blood pressure when I was pregnant and was advised to put salt on my food as a temporary aid to try and raise it...with a lot of fluid like Anne recommended xx

Hi ladies just an update as I've not felt well enough to come on here. Honestly I having been doing that well with the pain :( It's my right muscle that is just excruciating anytime I move or even just breath it's unbearable. I went under the muscle and my right side is my dominant side so I'm assuming that has something to do with it?! Today is a tad better I'm just having to force myself to eat as if I'm not asleep I feel dizzy and sick. I'm trying to remain optimistic and hoping it'll be over soon x

Aww Hun I'm sorry to hear you are in such pain, I'm sure this must be the worst bit, and day by day you'll start to feel better as the GA leaves your system. What pain meds are u on? Xxx

Hun, it will get better, I was a little shocked at how rank I felt that first week if im honest. Morning boob was mega painful, sleeping was near on impossible, and breathing, DIFFICULT, still have days know where I find it hard to get a full deeeeep breath. Walking too was hard, fel so hunched over and tight.

But just keep topped up on pain meds and sleep whenever you need to, go with it. I was having naps daily up until about day 9?

I think having kids makes it evermore difficult cos your trying to put a brave face on for them, when all you wanna do is cry and hold or chest (or I did anyhow!)
Just stay positive and remember its a small price to pay for that 6 week mark where you have gorgeous boobies and bras! It does ease off in that second week.

Thank you. I'm still bed bound as the pain med knockse out totally. They gave me Tylex (co-codamol) and Ibrupophen tablets but honestly they just make me sleepy I can always feel the pain in that right muscle. Since then I've been given Naproxen to take instead of te Ibrupophen but these literally wipe me out! I sleep most of the time which sucks as I miss my children and my husband. I just want to feel normal again or even slightly normal again. I thought I would be in pain but not like this.
When does the swelling generally go down ladies? I swear my bra gets tighter everyday x

Hey ladies, I'm 3 days post op and I don't mean to brag but I haven't had any pain at all only slight tightness and tiredness. I'm starting to feel like something is up!

We're all different but everything is normal. Unders are far more intrusive than overs, hence more painful. And it's not unusual for 1 side to feel worse, 2 different operations and perhaps one side was more difficult to place, plus a stronger muscle. I'm sure you'll be surprised by how different you feel in a week. Until then sleep when you need it and short walks inbetween naps may help you feel more human. Hugs, it will get better soon xx
