Hi twinky. They are ment to be worn when you are less mobile because of risk of dvt. Once your up and about you should be able to remove them.mbut ask your clinic first xx

I was told a week, but it was a heatwave and I just couldn't bear it. Check with your clinic, but as a rule wear them if you're immobile (over night), and just be sure to walk up and down the hall once an hr, wiggle your toes and ankles.

I wore mine for 2 days after then took off-as long as you can keep moving (wiggling legs/ankles) you should be ok but like the other ladies have said, ask your surgeon or ring the hosp. Hope your feeling well and are enjoying your new additions!!

I had no idea you were supposed to wear for longer, nobody mentioned anything and I didn't think to ask so I took them off as I left hospital. From that point onwards I was relatively mobile so I guess that's ok but always best to check!
