Bikini advice!
So I'm off on hol in a month and noticed all the bikini's are currently on sale so starting to shop around!
My aftercare advice has been to wear a sports bra day and night for 3 months, then I've been told from that point I can wear wires/bras/braless (basically do what I want) from that point! The clinic nurse did mention I would need a good supportive bikini, and some women poke holes in them and pull the wires out if they wish.
So I'm not really keen on investing in some decent supportive bikinis only to start making holes in them!? Do you think I'll find wires uncomfortable at this point (even though I've been given the go ahead to wear)? And should look for no wires/soft cup? Or in your experiences, are wired bikini's ok comfort wise after 3 months?
Also, holiday is still 4 weeks away but don't want to miss the sales. Is it likely my size is going to change much over next month? Am I ok shopping for some now do you reckon?
Thanks!! xx

Re: Bikini advice!
Hi, with regards to wires, some girls find them ok some don't. I wore a triangle bikini on holiday with no wires. But I was only laying around so nothing to energetic. Some girls can only wear wires for an hour or so. If you have the all clear then a non wired would probably be best for comfort.bxxxx

Re: Bikini advice!
I bought a really nice triangle bikini from swimwear 365 and I could buy the top in a different size to the bottoms. Such a lovely bikini too xxx

Re: Bikini advice!
If you've been given the all clear to treat them as you wish then bikini wise I'd go with what's ever most comfortable to wear. Keeping incisions well covered to avoid pigmentation & boobs smothered in the highest factor sun cream to avoid burning them.

The thing I struggled with was laying on my front but I was only 7 weeks PO when I went on holiday. I was well aware of my incisions. Make sure you look after them and only go waist high in the swimming pool. But I'm sure you know that anyway xxx

Re: Bikini advice!
You've got furries right? I wouldn't think there'd be much change in the short term, so you'll be ok from that perspective. Really its about what's going to suit you and be comfortable. Wired bra like bikinis look awful on me, but the triangle and halter look fab. Just get something you like and feel good in. Surfdome.com is fab, they have hundreds of styles, and great returns policy.

Re: Bikini advice!
I've been wearing underwires all week since I made my new purchases! Today I've had one on from 730am to 1130pm and feel totally fine. I actually feel really supportive and comfortable as the wires aren't sitting on the incisions.
I can imagine everyone is different. Maybe try a few on I store and see how you feel or order a few styles online and send back what you don't want.
Happy shopping xx

Thanks for your advice everyone! @[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I didnt realise you could only go waist deep? I think at 3 months PO I'll be ok, I will double check with nurse but surely you can go into water by then?
Will be slapping on the suncream for sure though!
Thanks for your advice ladies xxxx

Re: Bikini advice!
Go with what's comfortable but be aware you'll need to keep your whole chest area completely covered anyway. No sunbeds/sunbathing until 6 months.

It looks amazing but tbh doesnt fit great, but then it was only £8! Might use it as a spare for sunbathing in the garden and stuff. I got mine in a size 10 but the back is far too loose but cups fit quite nice. Have a look anyway, as it gives great cleavage! xxx
