So, I was down to go Bridgewater Manchester for my surgery, booked in with HMG,but I got a call yesterday to say the hospital  has gone into liquidation! Oh my goodness, my heart sank. However the pcc said DONT PANIC! And basically they have made  arrangemnts for all there upcoming surgeries to now be done at the Pines, also in Manchester.  She said other cosmetic companies use this  hosp, isn't this transforms purpose built hosp?
It looks amaze anyway!
So diff place, but same day, time and surgeon I have been lucky really.
The pcc said they had to cancel a couple of days surgeries while they sorted out a new location,  god them poor girls hey.

Thinking positive, we're still on guys :ok:

Oh gosh Twinky!! Thank goodness they've made alternative arrangements! So it's nothing to do with THG, it's the actual hospital that's gone into liquidation? I know both hospitals as I used to live near Abbey Pines. It is Transforms own hospital so maybe the surgeons work for both groups?
Will everything be ok with your aftercare etc?
God this isn't what you need when you're so close to surgery! Are you feeling ok? Xx

Yep, the actual hosp, apparently it's been taken over by, optima or opti something, and they want to focus on later eyes and all that so the whole suite hmg rented, has been done away with. I have to say I'm thrilled the pines has come to the rescue. There will be absolutely  no difference, so I'm told. Except the hospital is 7 miles further than the Bridgewater apparently.
So, fingers crossed it's all going to be ok.

No it's not great, but they have dealt with it swiftly and it doesn't really affect me in a negative way  whatsoever.
So, I'm happy.

Just hope it stays that way!

I'm pleased you're happy. Yeah The Bridgewater is close to city centre Manchester whereas Abbey Pines is nearer the airport. I had consultations there and it is a lovely facility. I used to live literally next door as you stand facing the hospital, my back garden backed onto their grounds...wasn't offered a neighbourly discount though!!  Hysterical
Really good news they've relocated you and not had to cancel. Full steam ahead...you must be so excited now!! xx

Phew, thank god its the actual hospital and not the company. There was a real issue with another company, similar name to HMG, that went under last year or so and a few girls got completely screwed. Glad the new hospital is just as nice!
