Can I ask...
Would you feel confident enough to sunbathe topless after your uplift surgery? I dreamt I'd had it done last night and the surgeon gave me nipple shaped like flowers!!!

Hey, I've not had an uplift but I'm 6 months post op and I would sunbathe topless now.....for the first time ever!! Lol
You would have to check with yr surgeon about the scars and stuff more than anything I think x

Really? Wow, I was worried that afterwards the scars would be so visible it would be obvious what I'd had done. :-/ I did think of the scaring was too bad I could ha e medical tattooing to help cover it...

Did you have a full anchor lift? That's what I need.

Re: Can I ask...
Scars fade to nothing eventually. I've only had a straight BA, but you'd only see mine if you were looking at them. I wouldn't go topless personally, but that's more of a life choice than a confidence thing. I guess it would depend on how open you're prepared to be about it, and whether it would bother you if you caught someone looking and whispering.

Re: Can I ask...
Hi lou,
I had a full anchor uplift 3 months ago and the nipple scars and vertical scars are already fading quite well. The horizontal one is still red and raised, but you have to give them time to fade. Have a look at this blog of a lovely lady who had an uplift, you can hardly see her scars a year on:http://tittilicious.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1
Re sunbathing i think you have to wait a good few months and wear a high factor sunblock as the scars nd skin are very sensitive. I can't remember the time frame, as i would have just skimmed over that bit of post op advice - this irish pale skin never sees the sun!!!

Re: Can I ask...
I guess the reason I was asking about topless sunbathing was to see how confident you felt about how well the scars had faded rather than how the scars would be affected by the sun. My fear is that I would be replaced get one issue (saggy boobs) with another one (scaring) :-/

Ah I'm afraid i won't be able to answer that one! I'm so unconfident in myself, my ps is the only one who has taken a photo of me in years, so no topless sunbathing for me!
saggy boobs you can see from a distance, scarring you really won't be able to unless your fairly close up.
