I'm all booked in!

Hii everyone!

I met with Mr Meleagros this morning and I am so pleased!  

My appointment was @ 10:15 this morning but he was running late which didn't help with my nervous at all! I was so worried as the previous surgeon I had seen over a year ago only offered me 230cc but I never asked why so I've been worrying for days that I literally cant fit anything more than that in!

He finally came and called me in at 10:30 and I thought he was lovely! He may not be the chattiest man in the world but I love the fact that he doesn't mess about. After going through all the different risks and complications we finally got down to the sizers!

These are the implants I tried on in the bra with a tight tank top:

300c - Didn't like it at all, smaller than with my double cup bra.
340cc - Still wasn't impressed, didn't make me look in proportion (I have quite a butt on me)
375cc - Now this was the size I've had in mind for a while now, I was happy with this but not amazing it didn't look too big or too small.
420c - Wow! I was worried because it does sound big but isn't at all. I didn't look top heavy or stupid with it, it was perfect!

After trying to sizes on I told Mr M that previously I had been only offered at 230cc and how worried I had been. He said he cannot understand why that's all he would have offered me when I have plenty of room for a larger implant and a good amount of tissue. I guess every surgeon just has there own opinion of how a breast augmentation should look?

I decided on the 420cc as I know everyone says go a little bigger then what you originally want. I think maybe a 400cc would be ok but then even if there had been a 400cc to try I would of gone bigger for the reason above.

The only thing I didn't find very helpful was the fact that when I was trying the sizes on he didn't really have much to say. I suppose in a way he did guide me as he was handing me specific sizes to try on but ultimately its down to me to decide based on the look I want to achieve. After I decided on the 420cc he did draw a dotted circle around one my boobs and then held the implant against it. The 375cc would fit with plenty of room and the 420cc was a perfect fit but he said may be a little tight at first.

After I went to see my PCC who was shocked when she saw the size we had agreed on. Now I am one of those terribly indecisive people who start to doubt my decision as soon as I've heard someone else opinion. She thinks that for the look I'm going for full D at the least that the 375cc would of been perfect and maybe the 420cc is going a little too big. Arghhhhh!!!

As I went on my own and Mr M left it down to me now I'm worried! And in all the excitement I forgot to take pictures with the sizes in!

I am super pleased though as I got the date I want Sunday 23rd August! Now I just need to sort this with work but the PCC said they can provide me with a letter saying I am having surgery but not what I am having done if I need it.

As I have plenty of time to decide with sizes still I am going to go back with my sister and mum and see what they think!

Hi, try not to take too much notice of the nurse. Your surgeon would only give you what he feels is right. I gave 410 cc and it's a really nice size implant. I think you will look great. Xxx

I know bur I'm just so indecisive, I struggling deciding to buy an outfit let alone something this big haha! I do have plenty of time to swap and change my mind though an I do feel the 420 felt right straight away. As with the others I knew as soon as I put them in they were too small. I think the number can be quite daunting too!

Yours look fabulous though! I am currently sat wearing my bullet proof padded bra with 2 sets of chicken fillets in 

Anything will be better than what I am now anyway just don't want to wake up after surgery with any regrets!

I u dears tans where you are coming from, but if you trust your surgeon then that's great too. I think you will love them. If you didn't like what you saw with the other sizers then you have made the right decision.  I used to think my chicken fillets were great. They keep your boobs nice and warm xx

Yeah your right I did worry because he wasn't saying much that if I said I wanted 600cc he would of gone along with it but then when I really thought about it he was silently guiding me my choosing me the sizes to try! 

I did worry that I had made my mind up too quickly after reading about how a lot of girls get stuck between picking sizes! But I guess if I didn't second doubt myself I wouldn't be human!

Try not to focus too much on the cc's, just what you felt suited you best and gave you the look you want.
I was so concerned 400cc would be massive and when you look at other peoples stats and end measurements, but I knew what I wanted, showed him pictures and knew he understood me. My surgeon said to me to not even think about the cc's, just what I liked and that was the best advice. We are so hung up on cup sizes and then implant sizes when they all mean different things on different people so go with what gave you the look you want xx

Your so right!

It sounds like a huge number but really isn't! And then reading some girls stats who've had the same implant and ended up a E or more worried me but then I had to remind myself they measure bigger than they look!

Dont worry yourself too much about it all, your the same as me with being indecisive! You can go back as many times as you like remember to be able to try them on! Next time take a friend or your mum for ab opinion and also to take pics for you.. This really helped me :-) xxx

Everyone is so different and one girl having 420 and another would be completely different sizes!

My surgeon said 350cc was literally the maximum my body would take! - I reallyyyy liked the look of the 375 and even after surgery he said there was no way 375 would have fit my breast width, which I was so glad!! - now I'm wearing a 30F/FF and I think thank god I couldn't go any bigger. I would think you will certainly get over a D with a 420!!! I'm thinking at least a FF/G.. but as mentioned before, Everyone different, I know someone who only managed D/DD with 380cc! xx
