8 days to go and got check list
hi ladies
I have 8 days to go till new boobies. Been shopping today I have got my button up front pjs, my lightweight dressing gown, my Malcom, strepsills for sore throat, slippers, and my freshen up bag.
Also got my v pillow today. So now is there anything I have forgotten ???
Haven't had vit E, or alcohol or garlic or curries etc for last 2 weeks but still smoking 3 cigarettes a day. Really struggling with that but know I must get down to none. Ahhhhh I need help with that one.
How you feeling [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].....we got same date ......

I was told to get normal size in sports bra so I got my 34 but with the surgical ones it's just your band size which mine is actually only a 29 !!!!!!

Yes macoms come in small medium and large. I'm a 32 and had medium. You will have swelling. My surgeon gave me one too. Maybe a small for you xxx

Some places are paper pants regardless, I know mine was. The one thing I wish I'd had was an electric toothbrush. never mind the aching arms, you don't realise how much you jiggle when you brush!

Yes you do jiggle while brushing your teeth. I was awake most of the night in hospital so out of boredom I ate sweets. So I couldn't have done without that. But as soon as I was home it was healthy eating. Slippers too as I found myself walking up and down the corridors with my drains in each hand. Ooo I looked attractive with my ted stockings on too. Xx

eek [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it's nearly time now!!
I'm really disorganised, I've just got my sports bras that's it so far!
I'm only a day case too so I'm not taking pj's or anything. I'll take my dressing gown for over the gown as I'm always cold anyway, my slippers and comfy clothes for coming home (I'll go in them too though). I've got my pre-op on Thursday so will ask what the surgeons stance in on arnica as it seems they are all different and will get some if he gives the go ahead.
Oh and I need to get some dry shampoo for those first days when I won't be washing my hair.
Well done for cutting down on your smoking hun, I know it must be really hard. I had a curry and 2 bottles of prosecco on Saturday but haven't been told otherwise - and I'm at a wedding on Saturday but will try and take it easy (she says!)
I'm going to order my macom now xx

Re: 8 days to go and got check list
If I was you I would buy a 36 band if ur currently a 34, that's what Im going to do, but im geting a 2 pack from marks I think. My surgeon wasn't too fussed about wearing a bra post op, but think I will need the support . Saw the m&s ones other wk and there super soft so GONA invest.
Iv also got a 2 pack of super fluffy socks for hospital as my feet r always cold, and I'm also going to get some sick bags for a ride home. I'm a day case so don't want to be feeling woozy on the ride home as it's over an hour.
