Picture Trail - PO Day 1
Just added day 1 pictures ladies, inbox me if you would like to take a look, no newbies I'm afraid though, sorry - sure you understand x
Just realised I have no before photo's so will try and get one off the surgeon to upload at some point.
I'm still coming to terms with the fact I've actually done this, it's amazing. And I was dreading the thought of hating them at first sight, but I actually LOVE them.... Swelling, numbness, pain, imperfections and all - they are mine!!!

I've been bra-less since surgery, said for me to put one on before I leave the hospital tomorrow, just so the scars aren't so raw and I should be able to tolerate it a little more.

I wrote you a great long reply and it didn't post, don't ya just hate that lol!!!
So, in a nutshell,.... I've felt sick all day but just starting to feel more human now, managed to eat some fruit, few cups of tea and brush my teeth lol.
Boobs are numb, but my chest is soooo tight, like there's an elephant sat on it, even breathing deep I can't do yet. Can't wait for that to improve that's for sue hun.
Boob greed is a b***tch - hope I don't get it!!

Re: Picture Trail - PO Day 1
Hi Sugar
How was your night. I wasn't feeling sleepy at all I think I'm far too excited about the new boobies so I took one of the strong painkillers that the anaesthetist told me would make me a bit drownsy and that helped me to get some rest. I'm now stuck in bed lol, not sure how to lift myself up without straining and using my chest muscles. I'm using onnr of those V pillows but during my sleep I moved a bit lower but still a bit lifted.
Hope you had a good night. May I ask you to have a look at your picture trail please. I'll start one from next week, have been told not to take my bra off until them.
Happy healing for us both :)
Hugs

Re: Picture Trail - PO Day 1
Hiya darl, I had a restless night too, buzzed the nurse at 2 and 5 for painkillers so I saw every hour through the night. Felt quite sick most of yesterday but feeling a lot better now, just had breakfast and due to go home about 11am, can't wait. I've got a v pillow for home too, I'm dreading getting up and down off the bed as I've struggled here even with the mechanical bed! I'm sure we will be fine and work round it. Did you have overs or unders? My surgeon said he went under the 3rd layer of muscle on me which is why I'm in so much pain, the tightness is unreal - wasn't quite prepared for it lol. Think there's gonna be a lot of bum shuffling over the next week or so haha.lunarpixie88 wrote:Hi Sugar

Re: Picture Trail - PO Day 1
Hi Hun
I had overs and it was a small implant 295cc conical, I've just managed to get out of bed by myself, yes lot's of bum shuffling lol. It sounds like going unders makes the pain stronger. Good luck hun, keep up with the meds and hopefully you'll be feeling better soon, everyone says the 3-4 days are the hardest.
Enjoy going back home, it's a much better place for recovering and with this rainy weather makes it even nicer to stay indoors...movies, books and good food :)
