Fed up!!!
I feel like i am getting nowhere with this boob job malarky!! Ive just come back from an appointment with my bank who i have been with for 5 years.. asked for a loan or credit card.. she said a loan is better for me and offered me a loan of 26% interest. What the eff. People must think I'm young and naive or just plain effing stupid!!
Sorry for the rant ladies.. i just feel so fed up :-( i have the perfect date in mind, done all my surgeon research.. found a surgeon and now its at a stand still because i can't seem to find a suitable finance method! :-( xx

Re: Fed up!!!
Sorry to hear this hun. I used to work selling loans back in the day and if you've ever had credit before it is actually really hard to get it - catch 22! The lender is more likely to lend if they can see you have had credit before and run it well, otherwise they are taking a risk on you.
Having said that, your own bank is usually an ok bet as they can see your accounts and how well you conduct your banking business - going overdrawn etc.
If you look on Experian, it's a credit rating site. You need to pay a small sign up fee for your full credit score but you can cancel your subscription straight away.
Once you've got your credit rating, it will show you a list of lenders that are likely to accept you based on your financial circumstances. That way you won't keep applying to different places and being declined...and everytime you are declined, your credit score reduces.
Hope that helps xx

Re: Fed up!!!
Perhaps you could ask your parents to take out the loan on your behalf, and you just repay it.

Re: Fed up!!!
Tesco bank were great for personal loan. Very quick and easy. Some times credit card can be good but when you apply, they set the credit amount so a loan may be better. If you can't get one in your name, do you have family to ask to take loan out for you and you just set up a direct debit to their account?
