New boobs look a bit... Small?! :-( Empty New boobs look a bit... Small?! :-(

Post by blush89 9th April 2015, 11:46 am

I want to write a proper boobie diary about my experience but only home from hospital this morning, so watch this space :-)

So much to tell you all, but there is one thing that's bothering me. Last night the surgeon came in to check on me at about 9:30pm. I was deleriously tired and a little tearful from all the drugs and general overwhelmemt. She pulled Macom forward and said 'quick, have a look!' And I looked down. I literally remember thinking 'have they put a smaller one in by mistake? Why are they so small and pointy? They look pretty much THE SAME'
She went and then I got so upset thinking all that money I've paid and they are small :-(

This morning I woke up and had another look and realised they weren't small, just majorly squished into my bra and sitting very high and swollen still. Sarahlou also showed me some great pics of how your boobs change over the weeks and get fuller.

Since being back at home I'm still a bit groggy so still sat here worrying about it. I love them and know they'll change, but right now they really don't look that much bigger :/ kinda like how my old boobs looked like in a padded bra?

Hmmm :-( xxxx

I'm sure they will blossom soon probably just a little squished at the minute they change a lot over the weeks and 315 isn't a small implant it's always a worry though. I looked at mine today 6 days post op and thought are they shrinking but I'm sure it's just me getting used to them good luck on your recovery journey x

They are 315ccs bigger! They might look small right now because they're high and tight, your bra is wrangling them in, and the swelling will be hiding some of the boob right now. Try not to over analyse them right now, there are so many changes yet to happen.

Thanks ladies. Standard me always finding something to worry about! Charlii Thankyou, I'm hoping so! It's such early days but I think you get such an idea in your head of what you think they'll look like without realising the time it will take to look the way you want! Xx

Take a look through some more picture trials, hopefully that will give you some reassurance. But the 315ccs had to go somewhere so bigger they will be! Once you've stretched and the shape of the inplant changes I'm sure you'll be loving them! x

Mine look the same in clothes as when I wore all the padding, but naked or in a bra it's a big difference. Did u take a before pic? Mine still feel pretty tight and hard but I'm sure once they drop and fluff it will be different for us! Xx

Hi, I know it's hard not to judge them now, but when all the swelling goes and they also settle they won't be small. At the moment you can't see the shape of the boob because of the swelling. They are sitting high also. It really is a waiting game xxx

Hi blush, don't dread it. This is part of your journy and as uncomfortable as it is, try and enjoy your recovery. Weird to say that I know. You will love them soon. It's amazing to see all the changes. And in a couple of months you will see girls on here going through the same. Day 3 the swelling is generally at its worst. The only thing that got me was sleeping on my back. But I would go through it all again. If I had too. Xxx

No matter how much you research & read up post op nothing prepares you for when you go through it yourself, don't fret over how they look at the minute ,you're stressing over something that's going  to change over the coming weeks.
Concentrate on your recovery & healing , your boobs will look just fab once they settle but it does take patience & lots of it. Hug
Happy healing wishes heading your way!  Stars

Thankyou lovely ladies. My gosh I didn't realise it would be such a ride lol! Yesterday (Day 1) I spent the entire day feeling so so sick and bloated and tearful. Today I woke up and felt like a zombie/mummy! I think cos I had slept in the same upright back position all night I couldn't move! Stumbled into my parents room like 'helllppp meee!'

Sooo stiff and swollen, even right down to my belly and hips and up to my neck!! I knew this week was going to be he toughest but you're right, nothing can really prepare you until you're going through it xxx

It does get easier hun, I promise. Even though I hated sleeping on my back, I still do it now and sometimes on my side. When I woke up from my op and the first week I thought my boobs were small, but when I had the binders took off they were massive. Also remeber hun the bra you were after Ba pulls your boobs in tight, when they start to relax you'll be shocked x x

Bless your little heart!! I bet they thought you were about 5 again, I did have a little chuckle to myself when I read that.

I'm sure in the next few weeks you'll realise how NOT small they are :)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] you sleep on your side again when it's comfortable, I'm a stomach sleeper and I sleep flat.. I have an amazing bed which I just love, so I was on my side by 2 weeks and front again by 3.. if your mattress is hard for example it might take longer, or you may need a pillow lower down to support you. Now I just sleep anyway I want xx
