Surgeon re-visit
So, been back to the surgeon & decided on 325cc - he even said he might end up doing 300cc left & 325 right as there's a bit of asymmetry. He looked a bit disappointed that i'd gone for the smaller of the sizes offered & said i should buy a C/D cup bra.
Does this sound about right? 300/325cc from an emptyish 32B into a C cup? I kbow everyone's totally different but just wondered of anyone had any thoughts?xx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
No one could possible say, but Yey for picking the size you wanted.
In my honest opinion I think you'll end up fitting much larger than a D if you're starting from B. Maybe buy a 34D for swelling and a 32D for afters?

Re: Surgeon re-visit
I thought I would be about a 32DD/30E so I bought 32DD because of the swelling.
Now... the day after the op I was trying on the sports bras etc and NOTHING was comfortable.
The best thing was a 34 Macom for the first 6 days. Then a 32DD/E Royce, which is now too small :(
When your swollen and uncomfortable you just want BIG! So don't shy away from a larger size... in my opinion!! xx

If your surgeon thinks a slightly larger size will give youthe best results then talk it over again. Xxx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
My surgeon recommended 350cc for me to from a 32c to a 32 dd so sounds right. Im just guessing tho as its bazaar how different sizes look totally different on different ladies from what I've seen!

Re: Surgeon re-visit
Thanks ladies.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i don't quite understand why he looked disappointed when they were one of the sizes he'd offered but trying on the 325ccs again was spot on - rice boobs for me were clearly a complete fail haha!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i was thinking buy one bigger-ish at least, like you say, swelling etc i'd rather be comfortable & supported than feeling like i can't breathe!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they were within the size ranges he'd suggested for me so i was a bit confused. Maybe he's used to girls wanting as big as they can go? Xx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
If I were you, you should talk to your surgeon and say to him about looking disappointed. That way there are no questions in your head before surgery. Xxx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
Maybe wait until a couple days before your op to buy any. That way you'll be well within the returns/exchange times if they're not the right size!

Re: Surgeon re-visit
Emz glad you have settled on the size ! I would be annoyed too if the surgeon sounded disappointed.. But remember he wouldn't agree on anything that wasnt right. So exciting your OP is round the corner! Do you have any more appointments before the surgery? xxxx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
I am a dd from a b with 280, I would be very surprised if you ended only a c. Out of the various bras I bought found the Royce by far the comfiest if also by far the ugliest!! Good luck xx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
@firecracker, HP partials yeah. They looked exactly how i imagine i wanted with the sizers so i'm happy :)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] haha, i love that! I like the look of the m&s front zip one but i can't imagine it to be the easiest to get into initially after having unders!xx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
If it's within his recommended sizes then I don't understand why he seems disaapointed; I would question him on it to behonest. I think the sizes you've picked would easily make you a C if not D, the only thing I can think is that he's worried you'll be dissapointed because sizes in your head would maybe not match his? did you take any pics of ideal boobies on figures you like? I think that'll be the best way to reassure you're then on the same page xx

Re: Surgeon re-visit
You'll be bigger than a c/d, but a c/d crop top style sports bra will most likely fit post op. I agree with zum re photos, just to be sure you're on the same page. Ignore cup sizes....it's really irrelevant as depends on band, perception, shop/brand....

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i was happy once i'd tried on the sizers as well so in terms of it being him or me that was happy with my choice i'd always have rather it had been me! How are you getting on?xx
