All you tall ladies out there...
Hi all, new to the forum, and its great to see so many people going through a similar journey to myself, brilliant.
Anyhow, I have had my first consult at the Harley Medical Group, and I am having Dr Sleitor as he has been recommended by a friend (who has fab boobies thanks to him!) He is great at the natural look apparently which is what I want. I said I would like to be a D at the end of my surgery, June 14th.
However having read so much, im now thinking the implant size I tried on and agreed to isn't going to be big enough to get me to a D cup?
I dnt want to get size obsessed here, but I would be gutted to be smaller than a D at the end of this journey.
I have been reccomnded 350cc unders / mentor high profile
I am currently a small 34B
But im a tall 5"9
size 12 with shoulders
Im seeing him again in April so will discuss maybe 375cc?
HELP....

Hi twinky and welcome to the forum.
350cc is a great size implant, and starting at a b I'm pretty. Certain you'll achieve your d cup, however a d cup to you maybe diffrent to what a d cup your surgeon precives.
The best thing is to take some photos of some boobies real or enhanced, that similar to your body type to show him what you want , this will give your surgeon a look to work with.

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Hi Hun,
I have similar stats to you and have been recommended a 315cc implants so smaller than yours and told I'll be AT LEAST a D cup. Looking at the sizers and what a 32D bra looks like I am expecting to measure up more of a DD, maybe even E.
Augmented breasts tend to size bigger than they look to, so good to bear in mind.
If you are really worried, I urge you to go back and re-try on some sizers and take a couple of pics in. By going back a second time I ended up going up a size with my implant!
Good luck lovely xx

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Have you had any other consultations so that you can compare?
It might be a good idea (even though your booked) just to go somewhere else to get a second opinion. You can then always take that idea back to Mr Sleiter.
I have Mentor 350cc and I'm wearing a DD which is slightly tight, I started off a B. Although I am quite a bit shorter than you xx

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
I'm 5'8", 10/12, had 340 (couldn't fit 375) from nothing and am now 32DD/E depending on the bra. Every girl is different, but I'd think you'd likely get over a D. Remember though, what you think of as a D could be way off, not to mention completely different to your surgeons thoughts on a D (mine agreed I'd be a nice C!)
Have you seen any other surgeons? I really would reccommend it. I feel I should also tell you HMG doesn't have the best rep round here. But it's absolutely your decision, and if you're happy with the surgeon, go for it. Definitely discuss a bigger size if that's what you want, but be aware that there will be a size that is too big to safely implant, like mine.

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Hey mrsball,
I paid a £500 deposit to secure my surgery date and im meeting him in a couple of weeks to go through everything & discuss sizes. I went to the Leeds branch and had a free consult with the branch manager there and discussed it all and tried on sizes, she was lovely and explained most of it to me.
Like I say my friend had a breast aug with them so as she was happy, I decided to book in and its all gone from there.
I have found nothing but positive reviews on the surgeon, and im happy to be going with him.
But now you guys are all worrying me!
I di have a consult with Transform a few years ago....but fell pregnant and decided against it in the end.

Hi I'm 5"8, size 10 and I had 335cc unders. I'm a dd/e depending on shop.
Think you'll definitely achieve a D cup with that size implants :-)

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Hi although I'm not tall a 350 implant is a great size however as you are tall you may be able to carry off a slightly larger implant. I do think a 350 implant will give you bigger than a D . What does your surgeon recommend and did you take photos to your consult ? It's always a good idea xx

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
I had a consultation there and met the same lady... Katie isn't it? Tried to be your best friend?
She does not have any qualifications to tell you what size she would 'recommend'. The size is between you and your surgeon.. I wouldn't be hung up on the 350cc implant size.. honestly :) xx

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Everything you've just said is what's wrong with HMG. I the fact they've got money out of you before you've even met some surgeon, who you've no idea whether you're going to click with him, or if he's on the same page as you. Just because your friend liked him and got good results is no indication for you. The branch manager is just some sales woman with no medical training whatsoever, so should not have been discussing anything to do with your body. Only a surgeon can make those decisions with you. Additionally I believe the left a lot of women high and dry during the pips scandal.
We're not here to scare you, just to ensure you're safe and getting all the information. I would strongly suggest trying to get your deposit back, and shopping around for opinions. If after all that you're still happy with this guy, only then should you put money down

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Hey Hun, I echo Charlie above. I had a consultation with HMG then changed my mind and went directly to a private surgeon.
I'm 5f8, size 8 and was flat 32A. I'm now 32DD/30E!
With already having a B it's likely you'll be a D but as was said earlier as you're tall you could carry off 375 no problemo x

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Wait until you've see your surgeon and get measured....until then it's all guess work as there's nothing to say a 350cc hp implant will fit your breast width! I'm 5'6 and broad shoulders but unfortunately the biggest I could go was 330cc. I could definitely carry off bigger from a frame perspective as my upper body is still smaller than lower. But any bigger wouldn't have looked natural on me personally as torso is narrow and from some angles I can just about see implant edges. See how you feel after meeting surgeon and then perhaps get some other opinions before you commit. That way you can feel assured you're making the right decision. After all it's a big decision to make!

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
A Pcc, or branch managed won't be able to choose a size for you babe, she's not medically trained nor is going to be she one operating on you.
I'm sorry to put doubts there, however just the fact she's decided on size is crazy. ONLY a surgeon can advise on size once he's measured you and taken breast measurments into consideration.
We recommend having a couple of consulations even if it's just to compare, with a. Surgeon, not a Pcc.
One of them being a baaps, so one who works from a nuffiled, spire, bmi or other private hospital.
A consulation with one of them will be second to none, with all the time in the world given to without feeling rushed.
You never know another surgeon could recommend a larger implant, not that I'm saying bigger is better, however it's good to have a choice I suppose of what's achievable and what you're looking to achieve. X

Re: All you tall ladies out there...
Thanks for all the input, I appreciate what your all saying, and thinking about it now, im not even gona stress about the size UNTIL I meet DR Sleitor, as like you say, HE is the one who knows all the medical information and im sure between myself and him we can come up with the correct size that im happy with.
While I get what your all saying, I have had positive experience so far, and im feeling good. So im gona ride this wave of happiness, and go with it.
If by the time I meet him, he cant give me what im asking for, or I don't 'take' to him for some reason, then by all means I will seek other consultations.
But for now, im happy with my decision.
Right, off to read some BA stories : )
