Anniversary spa day-bikini help!!!
Girls! I need yr help here lol
There is absolutely no way I can wear my old bikini, thet fit is practically pornographic now :$ hehehe
I need a new bikini, desperately! But after trying on my old one, the triangle string type, I didn't think it looked right (possibly because it was just ridiculously small) also because, I think, I used wear them to kind of hide tiny boobs and make me look more athletic all over.
So, now I need a new bikini style altogether for my new shape. I don't even know where to start!
What kind of bikinis can u wear withbigger busts but smaller frames? Would a bra type one be better support wise? Do bandeau ones look silly with big boobs? Can I get away with strapless even?
Its all so new and daunting! I probably need to go and try some on but with kids on half term thats not likely to happen.
Any insight is gratefully received :) x

Re: Anniversary spa day-bikini help!!!
Bikinis are a bit like bras, what fits & looks good one one person doesn't necessarily suit another.
I like the bandeau type bikini with halter neck but don't wear them so much now , preferring swimsuits instead ( it's an age thing! )
If time away from kids to shop is an issue you can always order a whole lot online to try on & send back the ones that you don't want.
Very & John Lewis usually have a good range of swimwear with lots of styles to choose from.
Hope you find something nice, enjoy your spa day & being pampered!

I'm right there with you on the swimsuits Mirren lol. There's GORGEOUS ones around right now so I'm made up haha
Debenhams do bikinis by cup size, so you could always buy your bottoms in a small size and the top in your actual cup size - works for the perfect fit! Xx

I wear triangle bikinis but one for a bigger bust. Or you could go for a bra type one. I think if you got it, which you have, flaunt it. I'm not much help am I. Hehe xx

I would try and buy one by cup size too! Asos, swimwear 365, freya and panache have them and loads more! In fact got a cheap bandeau one in H&M that was bra size. Bracissimo told me I could go up a band size (down a cup size) for bikini as more comfy and support is less important. I'm the opposite to you, I'm can now wear a triangle for first time but got a size 14 to make sure it had enough coverage! Luckily straps just tie so doesn't need to be a size 14 band. Also got a freya bra size one in a 32e and it's perfect for playing them down, around the parents!!

I was surprised, but a triangle actually looked ok on me! The halter style looks best though. Head over to SurfDome, they have so much choice and free returns!

I bought a ton of bikinis from there in different shapes and styles, picked a couple and sent the rest back. Refund came through within a week. I think you get a fair bit of cashback too if you go via Quidco.
