How long does the op actually take?
I'm I've realised in all my extensive research that I don't even know how long I'm likely to be under for?! Having unders if that makes a difference! Thanks ladies x

I had unders but can't remember how long my op took, whole day was a bit of a blur, mixture of nerves & excitement! but surgery is approx 1-1.5 hours. XXX

Re: How long does the op actually take?
I had unders hun, I'm pretty certain I was under for 1.5 hours. I spent ages in recovery as my blood sugar was really low (I'm diabetic).
I remember getting knocked out at 9.30am as I could see the clock on the wall, and I didn't get back to my room till just after 1.30pm! My partner thought they had lost me!!
But, I'm not a straightforward case being diabetic! I think it's generally between 1 hour to 1.5 hours for the surgery hun.

Hi Becky
I went down at 11am and was back up just before 1pm which included time in the recovery room, when you start to come around you will wonder if you have actually had the op till you look down , hope that helps xx
