Re: April Buddies
Hi ladies, this is my first post here. I'm booked in for Thursday 2nd.
I haven't decided what size yet I'm a 34B and want to be Large but not massive!!
I'm doing the rice test but a bit confused whether I weigh it or measure the volume in a jug, because 410 ml of rice is about 360 grams.

Re: April Buddies
Hi Sansa I did rice tests but not sure how accurate they are I'm currently a 34b and having 360/380 motiva unders and should achieve at least a d if not a DD. I've just started packing my hospital bag in on the 3rd April paying my last instalment this Friday it's scary I'm pinching myself that I am actually getting some nice boobies after completing my perfect family x

Re: April Buddies
If you get the dimension of the base to the same as the implants they can be very accurate... I think mine were :)
It's in grams :) xx

Re: April Buddies
From the catalogue of the brand of implant... for example:
This is that mine are from catalogue:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
So mine have a base of 11.7 cm... you could use a protractor to draw a round piece of cardbaord... perhaps cereal box? and use this for the base to spread the rice :)
As you will notice, each brand has a different name of their profiles... some say: moderate, high and extra high, mine say: moderate, moderate plus and high profile, so I actually have the equivalent of the 'extra high profile' with a projection of 4.9cm. This is why a base measurement is used to for rice boobs.. so you gage how high they are going to be too..
This was chosen for me because I actually liked the look of the 375cc but the width was too wide for my breasts. SO, instead the surgeon chose the 350cc which was perfect for the breast width, and took the projection higher... now I think 'thank god they weren't the 375cc they are big enough' lol! xx

Re: April Buddies
Thanks sarahlou, I did the cardboard cutout and it worked much better.
I still don't know how big to go though! Im 5'9" and fairly broad shouldered so I'm thinking 400 plus but I'm worried they'll look huge. I've breastfed 3 kids so there's plenty of space to fill!
This time in 3 weeks it'll all be done!!

Can you measure your Breast width?
You may need someone or a mirror to help you.

Hey lovely. I had 350 round, I wanted a natural but not super natural look. The brand was mentor siltex cohesive II. They are the equivalent to the extra high profile :) xx

Re: April Buddies
Lol I loved the Macom for straight after surgery, was comfortable and so easy to do up!
The Royce is now my favourite because swelling has gone down and I can do the poppers (poppers with new boobs was too uncomfortable) and the Royce holds you a lot firmer which I couldn't handle with brand new boobies. Everyone is different though!
I'd like £20 including postage :) x

Date change....
My op has been put back by a day - it's now the morning of 25th April, it's a Saturday so I suppose it's 1 less day I have to take off work though. I hope it doesn't get changed again.
I'd much have preferred an afternoon appointment, more time to prepare but at least it will be over and done with and I can sleep the rest of the day x
