Any such thing as strapless sports bra?
Hey Ladies
I was wondering if anyone had ever come across any such thing as a strapless sports bra or a non wired high sportive bra / bandeau for a one off night 4 weeks after surgery.
Im having revision surgery - reposition of right infra-mammory fold.
I have an evening where an outfit requires strapless / no bra. i have spoke to my surgeon who explains one night without a bra would be find as long as I'm careful but to be honest if i can't find something supporting thats strapless i won't wear the outfit and will just find something else to wear and wear my ugly sports bra - ha ha.
I would love to know if anyone has come across anything.
Many thanks :)

Asos have bandeau bras but I doubt they offer much support. I've got a sports bra that does cross offer but a strapless one won't exist I doubt as wouldnt be suportive enough.
Personally I would probably adapt my outfit as I felt quite self conscious at 4 weeks due to boobs riding high. You may prefer more support too, perhaps have 2 outfits on standby.

Ops sorry missed that! Maybe try the asos ones and see how they feel. I guess you won't know until afterwards but I don't think they were expensive!

Maybe something like this bra HERE. would be ok? You could perhaps purchase a couple of bras just before your revision & take them along on your surgery day to ask surgeons opinions, if not suitable send / take them back.

Strapless and wireless, you won't find anything with full support. Although maybe a strapless nursing bra might exist? May have more support than a bandeau

There's also these non wired bras HERE & HERE , best to seek surgeons advice though as wouldn't want bra holding your boobs in wrong position especially after revision. XXX

I think Wonderbra are meant to do good strapless bra's?
Not sure how supportive they'll be, but I'm sure it'll be fine for a few hours?
Have a wonderful evening whatever you decide :)

My mum has the wonderbra that Mirren has posted above, she doesn't have implants (she's a 34B) but, she says it's so comfortable and her boobs look an amazing shape too! Xx

I thought it was the band that was supposed to be where the support is? Not the cups. I have a low cut sports bra that is great for low cut tops. Triumph extreame it's very good xx

The wonderbra is amazing! Its got hands on the inside holding you up! And I didn't have to rearrange once during an all day wedding. It might do the job, though I didn't realise they weren't wired.
Yes anne, its the band that provide all the support. Bandeau bras tend to just be elasticated boob tubes though, so really don't offer much in the way of support.

Re: Any such thing as strapless sports bra?
I think I would go braless for maybe one night going out for dinner, but as long as it was very occasional. I wouldn't go dancing with out one. Not that I go dancing much these days. But only if I was fully healed from my ba. I think gossard do a lovely soft wired bra. If you find wires to uncomfortable. Xxx

Hey Ladies
Thanks for all your options. It is the band that offers the support post op and as there isn't anything i shall just change outfit as i had said i would if there wasn't anything and as others have suggested.
Thanks again :)
