Furry Brazilian - Cancer links?!
Hi ladies,
I had my consultation with Mrs Kat yesterday who recommended Tear Drop furry Brazilian implants. ( I will write a separate post on my experiences overall)
I'm having a bit of a panic as I have read lots of negative press about furries, particularly that in animal tests they caused cancer? I've also heard they can look more 'stuck on' as they don't drop as much?
In the information pack Mrs Kat gave me, there is a sheet talking about the link to cancer and although it stresses the risk is minimal, it's really scared me. And there doesn't seem to be talk of cancer with any of the other implants!!
Please let me know what you think? xxx

Re: Furry Brazilian - Cancer links?!
I think if they were dangerous and there was a real risk, they wouldn't be on the market. Everything is a carcinogen these days, mostly because they are a 'new' product and there is no long term data available, so they take 20 people with furries and cancer and concluded from that, nevermind they're all 60 a day smokers or genetically predisposed.
If you Google polyurethane implants and cancer, the first storyline that comes up is baaps saying it's nothing to worry about. There was a bit of a wobble in 2012 because of pips, but like I said, if there was a real cause and effect danger, they wouldn't still be used. Your surgeon just has a duty of care to give you all the facts. I really wouldn't worry about it

Hi, My mother in law had breast cancer and had her breast removed, She's now had fat removed from her hips put into one breast and the other breast a furry Brazilian implant. I also have these implants, if these did cause cancer I don't think they would put this implant in someone who did have cancers. I think you'll be fine with these implants I'm very happy x x

I agree with charli and actually now there are very few things they can't link to cancer in some way or other.

Babes, there is going to be risk in everything we all do at every point in our lives, if the cancer risk does bother you, get another appointment with your surgeon and discuss it further so that you can make an informed choice as to whether itS something you feel you need more time to think about before committing to surgery xxx

I wouldn't worry, the risk is very small. There's risks for everything. Lots of women have these implants. If you read a leaflet about going under GA itcan cause death but lots and lots of people still do it x

I tend to agree with the girls, there are risks with everything. Infact mammograms come with a risk of cancer. cancer. The air we breath is full of car fumes etc. I just had Botox and death was mentioned in the small print. I don't blame you for reading up. It's good to know you have covered things though xx
