Small implants
Hi . I'm a 32D cup and need to have an lift and implants , if like them small so they don't droop too much .
Any idea what size implant would be good for me ?
I'm a size 10 , though want to lose weight and be an 8 for the surgery .
Consultation on the 19th February
Thanks guys

Re: Small implants
Only the surgeon will be able to advise what size is best. They'll look at you, take your breast width diameter, ask what look you're trying to achieve, and then will advise what's best for your body. Every implant will sit differently on every woman, especially with an uplift, so you'll need talk about it close with your surgeon.

Re: Small implants
Thanks Charlie , Yes I am just impatient !
What has just been brought to my attention which is rather worrying is that some surgeons advise two procedures for a lift and augmentation , the thought of going through it twice is quite daunting , do you know if this is commonly advised ?

Re: Small implants
I know we've had a few girls advised of this recently. I'm not as up on uplifts as some of the other girls, so I'm sure someone will be along to help out. It is daunting having to put yourself through twice, but if that's what the surgeon feels is best, then they've likely got their reasons. Maybe talk it through with him when you go back to see him, ask his reasoning behind it and discuss if a single procedure is an option.

Re: Small implants
Sorry, misread that one! But definitely bring it up and see if he would do it in one or two goes.

Re: Small implants
Hiya,
I need an uplift and implants. ideally i wanted it done in one op, less recovery, cheaper etc. but my ps wasn't happy to do that due to me having fairly big but saggy boobs. he thought my revision rate would be fairly high. so I'm having an uplift next week and then implants 3 months later. Not what i wanted, but he knows best and i trust his judgement. He has done a joint op on other girls on here, so i know he does it, im just not a suitable candidate. But such is life!
Speak to your ps and see what they say. And my best bit of advice? Have an open mind when you go for your consultation!

Thanks for your advice , I'm meeting with Simon Withey at my breast , I'm a 32d but want small pert boobs . Yes I will try to go in with an open mind and now at least I know that double surgery could be his advice

Re: Small implants
I 'think' and don't quote me on this lol, it may have something to do with the skin quality. If you have very good elasticity in the skin, which means your skin will be able to hold onto the implants with the stitches, so with good skin it'll all hold on well together making for good scarring because there won't be as much pressure on the incisions.
If you have bad skin and are very prone to sagging, then doing the uplift first making everything nice and neat and all healed up well in prep for the implant, because you don't have the pressure on the scars it'll give those ladies a better chance of a better result. .
Do take in pictures with you when you go to see the surgeon. Be realistic in choosing the look like ensuring the boobs you choose are on a woman with a similar frame as yourself.
It's much better going into your consultations with a visual for both you and your surgeon can discuss because it gives both you and your surgeon the opportunity to discuss the volume (CCs) in the picture, so you both know there's no mistake in your choice if look because you were able able to 'see' the look.
Having a BA/ Uplift really isn't commonly used though. Most surgeons are more than happy to do both procedures in the one go, but as ive said, if the surgein is insistent on doing it through 2 stages I presume this is purely down to skin quality and getting the best from your surgery for you. Xx
