Advice on rice bag tests!! and quickly!!
Can anyone offer any tips on rice bag tests! My surgeon has changed final consultation from thurs to tomorrow so now in mad panic re sixing and apparently I only have 20 min spot so bang goes my idea of trying lots on! I googled and a web site said to weigh cc in grams of rice and place in bag and expel air and then wrap in cling film to implant shape but this ends up looking like a tennis ball shoved down my top! Have no Breast tissue in which to disguise it! Can I weugh and use loosely or does this not work the same? Any tips welcome!

I poured mine into the feet of an old pair of nylon tights and tied, and then cut of excess. It was a lot more maliable in the bra that way x

I just took a picture into my surgeon and said this is the size I would like to achieve. That worked for me. Xx

I ran out of rice!!!! - I wanted to try 345 but ran out after 300g in each, I think the density of rice is a lot different to silicone. It does give you a good idea though :)
I went to primark and bought 3 different bra sizes, rather than measuring the rice so well, I just filled the bras and took the one I liked the look of to the consultation. That advice was given to me by the surgeon but everyone is different :)

I tried rice boobies before my consultation, but the rice actually ended up looking bigger than the real thing!
Just remember when the implant is in under your skin, it looks a lot smaller than when you're holding the implant OR rice boob.
My PS said, it actually looks one size smaller. So, i was going for 345cc, I tried the 325cc implant and asked him- so THIS will be the actual look once inside? He said yep. So I went for the 345, knowing it would look like 325...if you know what I mean! Bare that in mind when trying on the implants xx

Of course when your putting so etching on top if your own breast it will be slightly bigger. It's such a big decision to make sure the size is right. I knew I wanted to be an E but surgeons don't work in cup sizes. I found for me a picture of my ideal boots was best for me. Xx

Annie is right, taking a picture of your desired look is best to get the message across. The PS will be looking at your body shape and will aim to make you look 'in proportion' to your height/weight/hips etc xx

Re: Advice on rice bag tests!! and quickly!!
The surgeon I have decided to go with, matched the diameter of my breast with the diameter of the implant for the perfect fit, he said that would be the most natural for me.. I was getting a bit greedy and asked for the size up. But he drew on me where the larger size was sit snd it would be far too high for me

Girls, if you're worried how different your rice results will be, have a look here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I had no breast tissue, and also used a cereal box to cut out the circumference of the implant, which I found online.

Whatever was in the cupboard! Likely Asda's own basmati! Just a regular grain rice will achieve the right results for Uncle Bens Boobs.

Re: Advice on rice bag tests!! and quickly!!
The do tend to come up a little bigger, because obviously they're on top of, rather than inside the breast. But they're a fairly good indicator. If you're completely flat like I was, try with the cardboard base to give it more shape, but if you've got something there already, just in a pop-sock and moulded around your boob is probably better.

I poured mine into a freezer bag and put them in my bra.
They were pretty accurate.
