Re: Incisions
Yup. But it's going to take at least a year for them starting to blend in, I'd go as far as saying two years for the scar to be fully healed. Xx
Re: Incisions
Long time before they will fade then! Would moisturizing help to fade quicker? X

Re: Incisions
It's totally dependent on your own skin and how fast your healing goes. Generally the darker the skin the longer it can take to fully fade in. But some fully heal in months, others in years, it's just another of those things that you'll just have to wait and see. Xx
Re: Incisions
I didn't really touch my scars after just getting rid of dead skin, and they're pretty much invisible now. I'm paler than the moon too. You can see them shine if you're looking, but at a glance no. Plus as your boobs drop, the move more neatly into the fold so you can't see them anyways.

Re: Incisions
Check your booklet, it should say for thg patients 4 or 6wks you can moisturise the incisions. I used the tamanu balm the champion and I love it. Just a little bit in a circular motion sloughs the dead skin right off. Of course you can use any moisturiser. Just not until you've got the all clear.
