GUESS WHAT???

Only gone and booked my surgery today!! - Nothing can wipe this smile of my face!! xx

I knew you would lol. Mr Foo is supposedly such a nice guy and I knew you'd come on here today saying youd booked.

Aww thanks Cookie! I'm going in on 3rd March :) the first thing I wanted to do was come on here and tell everyone.. but I had to take some colleagues from Belgium out to dinner!

I saw Mr Foo for about 30 minutes, he went through my medical history again and asked me a few questions.
He then got me to take off my bra and stand in front of him, he picked every little hole in my boobs, one lower than the other one nipple slightly further out EVERYTHING! He drew it on a picture and told me that the op wouldn't correct any of it (but very tiny things that some I hadn't even noticed!

We then sat back down and he went through ALL the contraindications, he showed me pictures of rippling and told me what caused each and every one, he then went through the last couple of times people have been back to him with problems and told me the outcomes.

I then went through to a nurse to try on sizers that I liked in the bra that I took with me.
I tried 310, 345, 375 and 400 all in moderate to begin with. He then came back into the room and got his pen and tape measure out, he measured my boobs each, a cross and down and got his catalogue out to check dimensions, I had said I liked the 375, he draw the dimensions on me and said they were going to look too big which would make them look fake. He then drew the 345 and he said perfect and I looked in the mirror and was shocked with how well he was able to tell me how good the dimensions would look on me.
We all agreed they would fit perfect.

So I was in the clinic a total of 1 hour 10!!

He asked me about a surgeon date, to which I said the first week in March please, he opened a slot for me at the Yorkshire Clinic (no different after care to the Spire) and he booked me in!! - Im so so so happy! He is very matter of fact, but very thorough and very nice!! He remembered EVERTHING about me from last week at the 'mini' consult too xxx

Oh, he then said that because of the dimension sizes and the look I wanted that high profile was better than moderate, and he also said he would put them under the muscle, just at the very top! xx

You'll be having 'partials' Sarah (partially under the muscle) 

Sounds like you were well impressed hun. A full baaps consultation really makes all the difference doesn't it Sarah. 

I'm so pleased for you lovely and don't forget to add yourself a ticker (look in the stickies in the forum support and FAQs section for instruction) and add your surgery details to the calendar entries section of the forum (not the actual calendar)

Congrats Sarah, that's excellent news! It all becomes so real when you book a date doesn't it? :-) not long more for you to wait!!  your surgeon sounds very dedicated, makes it so much less stressful when you have faith in the person doing the op! :-) count down is on.... eeeek! :-)

The 3rd will be 'A' and I's anniversary and my booby anniversary.. Not that I planned it that way. 
And to be fair it's only a 2 year 9 month not a special one lol.

Yay. nice one Sarah, your consultation sounded really thorough and seems your surgeon completely understood what you were aiming for,  and I can tell you have 100% trust in Mr Foo. I am excited for you - its soon, only 6 weeks, but I bet the days will drag by as they always do when you are waiting for an important date x

I hope it does go quickly! And by then the morning and evenings will be so much lighter.. I can't wait for that!

He did say to me that he can not promise a cup size at all.. Which I completely understand, so I actually have NO idea how big I'll be... At least a DD I would think!
When he said 'what size do you want to be?) my response was 'a size where I don't feel embarrassed to where a bikini or a dress without a bra.'

Aaw,its great to hear you got the outcome you wanted after looking at so many different places and surgeons.
Great news on the booking, thats my littlests 8th birthday :)
Congratulations :) you should be out of your sports bra, at least in the day, in time for the good weather and vest tops. Its so exciting!! :) x

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - That's what I thought too! Although I do a lot of running and I quite like sports bras, it will be nice to buy some nice pretty bras and not to just think 'oh that will do.' Yay!! It's a good day then :) xx
