Rescheduled follow up tomorrow :)
Hi girls,
Hopefully not jinxed it by posting about it. I won't be happy if it's cancelled gain!!
Would like to talk to him about why my leftie is still sitting lower than my right. Its not very much but it bothers me :(
I guess most of the excitement is gone as they already told me I could go get measured so ive been wearing a big girl bra since last week.
Hopefully my surgeon will be happy with them and have a simple explanation to the one sitting lower. Hopefully its swelling thats making it look that way rather then the actual implant. My leftie is still quite swollen, and that had the most swelling after surgery and made weird water noises....and some fart noises hehehe.
Anyways, will see what he says...

Re: Rescheduled follow up tomorrow :)
Let us know how it goes! I'm in the same position as you with one slightly lower. Going back next month to check it hasn't dropped further (which I don't think it has) but otherwise I think I personally will just need to accept it! I'm much further along than you though.

Re: Rescheduled follow up tomorrow :)
Thanks mammamia.
Its a bit rubbish isn't it, and hard to accept after wanting the "perfect" boobs for so long. I guess we just have to remember they are a lot better than what we went down to surgery with.
Im hoping, as mine are furries and get put where they will stay, that its just swelling sitting round the implant and when that goes won't look like that x

It is so hard! We want perfection pay thousands and then sometimes are disappointed! But for me I have to remember they are surgeons not miracle workers and align expectations! Having said that, mine are miracles compared to my before photos!!! I'm sure for you, you're right as still early. It will be nice to get some reassurance tomorrow.

Re: Rescheduled follow up tomorrow :)
If you had any slight asymmetry pre-op this will be magnified in the difference post-op.
If you didn't, then it's all about time....especially for the Furries. Patience really is the key for getting through this surgery and not many of have this (I know I don't lol) and we all want we paid for ASAP! and we're never quite prepared for the length of recovery post-op and MANY of us think that because every the surgeon gives the all clear to get out their and treat their boobs as they would their natural ones that's it! That's the result we're going to have.
In reality, although you may get that all clear and your surgeon says you're fully healed enough to wear normal bras - Your boobs disagree!
Boobs can also look fully healed on the outside, but they still go on healing 'on the inside' over the course of a year, so in the grand scheme of things when you think where you are in your recovery, you're so, so early to be judging them just yet.
In saying all of that, I'm a firm believer that if you're overly concerned about ANYTHING, you should trust your gut and go and get the concern added to your notes. If you're unsire it's been written down, don't be shy of asking what your surgein wrote and have them recite it back to you...after all, these are YOUR notes and I'm in no way saying there's a problem here (not for a minute, I'm just talking in general) but should a problem arise from your concern, at least you've got it documented and this goes a long way in terms of getting that revision if it's ever needed.
Jen, I'm pretty sure that's not the case for you but like I said, if you're concerned.....get it noted Xx

Re: Rescheduled follow up tomorrow :)
Thanks girls :)
It could have been tere before, cookie but I didn't spend too much time looking at them if im honest.
Just my usual check every month, even more thoroughly after finding a lump a few years back, but that was it.
Obviously ive got a before photo but lighting/angle etc could make it hard to see if it was there.
Anyway, I will find out tomorrow I guess :)

Re: Rescheduled follow up tomorrow :)
It went well hun, was in surgery for 1 hour, afterwards they put a bra on ready and I asked what size, nurse said 32E lol, feeling very sore at the moment. And tired.
Can't have a look at my boobs till Wednesday next week as I have 2 binders, bra and bandages. X x
