I can't say I've heard of this surgeon here before Becky.
In terms of bras your surgeon will be able to tell you the estimated size you'll be, so just give your clinic a call and they'll be able to tell you.
The most favoured bras here are:
M&Ss pack of two high impact bra for £29. If you buy your regular band size and the cupsize recommended along with some bra extenders, these bras will take you right through your recovery period.
M&Ss front fastener, it's best to buy these a back size larger and the cup size recommended.
Triumph Triaction Extreme
Shock absorber, again, both the Triumph and this bra will need regular back and if you buy extenders again these can take you right through your recovery.
The Macom. (front fastener) This bra doesn't need a cup size, just your back size to fit. If this is your bra of choice. Type MyBreast into the promo code area and you'll get yourself 15% off the price of the bra.
If your choice is a front fastener it's always best to buy at least one back fastener in your own back size plus bra extenders just to cover yourself. Often after the swelling reduces it can leave the band a bit too large and as all of the support of a bra comes from the band you won't be getting adequate support, so the back fasteners are there as your back up plan. Xx
