The Royce Silver post-op bra
I've used different bras to try through my surgeries so if anyone asks I can give my own experience of the particular bra - this time it was a toss up between the Z-bra and the Royce Silver.
The Royce just topped the Z-bra 'for me' though because of the silver fibres in the bra which are known to have anti-bacterial/septic properties.
I know Kay has used this bra before and loved it but was wondering if anyone else has tried this bra before and what they thought. I've just ordered 2 of them, ready for surgery. Ive lots of support bra which I wear for bed so they never go to waste and ive got my back ups should I need them. But I'm excited to give these a go
You can take a look at the bra if you're interested HERE

Ive no experience with either, but upon looking I'd go for the Royce over the Z. Seamless and adjustable on the straps wins for me. I wouldn't get on with the Z for the same reason as the M&S zip, no adjustable straps

Yes, those 'magic straps' were a winner for me too. I enlarged the pic but can't see how they work unless it's like a Velcro strap. Great though that you don't have to take off the entire bra for check-ups isn't it. Just ping and they're down haha. Xx

Re: The Royce Silver post-op bra
You should be able to get the guesstimate resulting size from your surgeon Roses.
I'd personally see how you get on with the one the hospital give you though first. You may want another of those if they're comfy. There's no immediate rush is there if you're already being supplied with a bra and if you're not getting on too well with that bra, at least you'll know there's others out there you might be interested in and should have a better idea on sizing then as well.
Just a suggestion though. If you'd like to buy one now, like I said, your surgeon, or even the clinic nurse who'll have access to your notes will be able to give you your surgeons guesstimate result acting size. Xx

Re: The Royce Silver post-op bra
Hey Cookie,
I did phone them last week because with having 3 kids and lots going on at home I really wanted to have a couple of bras to see me through the first 1-2 weeks without having to worry about going out shopping for bras,
Well.... She seemed to think that going from a 36b(I'm actually a 34 band and when I measure properly I do measure 34c) that I'd end up a 34DD, I've been hugely optimistic and bought a 34E 2 pack of M&S high Impact sports bras (oops) but also liked the thought of having 2 front fasteners ! I know having 4 sports bras seems a bit ott considering some may not fit but I can always return them Xx

You can indeed Roses, so if you're happy to buy now, then you go ahead...it's entirely your decision and I persoanlly don't think you have have enough sportsbras lol. You'll be surprised how much you still wear them even after getting the all clear. X

Hehe... I'm awful.... I'll have about a hundred within weeks of having my ba... I've got a friend who had a ba years ago and she still religiously wears her sports bras every night ! xx

Thank you so much [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], it was good to have been able to read the review and I was right, they are Velcro which is fab.
Seems like you say, a really good bra. Hopefully it'll be as good for me as it was for that lady, bless her. Xx

I didn't get along with the Macom either Boobies2be. The Royce just looks more comfortable and the material did swing it for me, so I hope they're as comfy as they look. Xx
