Probaly bit too late to ask this incase I have missed anything off.
In my overnight bag I have :

Cotton knickers 
Slipper socks
Sports bra
Onsie 
Button up pJ shirt 
Tablet with charger 
Tooth brush 
Toothpaste 
Bobbles 
Face wipes 
Throat sweets 
Anti histamines

Anything else ? Do I need to take my V pillow? And ice pack or are these for home?

what are the throat sweets and antihistamines for?  You have stuff on your list I haven't even thought about :/ I haven't even bought my new pjs yet :(  I have friday after visiting santa to run around like a blue arsed fly with toddler in tow on operation get prepped haha!

Throat sweets I case my throats sore after having the tube down. antihistamines incase my boobs are itchy haha. Get sorted women haha . Xx

Are you having drains hun?  If yup...u won't want your deodorant. ..prob wont need onsie....or feel like brushing your hair. ...i think i left mine three days. ..lmao now.

use hair ties with no metal in.... Best no moisturiser or deodorant before you go 
... i had  instructions to bath or shower the morning i was in.....

best to go with no jewellery on 
Also take any nail polish off first (saves doing there)

Take a sugary drink..... gives a boost  and quenches thirst. I drank two jugs of water soon after i was soooo thirsty. 

Just enjoy resting and being looked after hun

Haha tell you what...on Friday get your bum on here and tell me all the things you didn't use ;)  I'll start from there.  It's like my pregnancy hospital bag all over again...I was scrambling around in the middle of contractions panic throwing anything in just in case haha! xx

I over packed, ended up using a face wipe and toothbrush, that's all! GA can make your mouth v dry, and coughing will hurt, so lozenges will help with that. You won't need the antihistamines or ice packs for the hospital, just for home. Take your v pillow, then you've got it if you want it. Other than that, just entertainment and clothes!

Dressing gown? I didn't and they out the surgical gown over me but it's open at the back so had to borrow one from the hospital x
