2 days post op is lumpy normal?
Ny left breast was lumpy and I had cc so could feel the sacred tissue under the skin the tissues were so thin on that breast. I've had my implants replaced and a capsulotomy on that side but it looks and feels lumpy. It's quit tender is this bruising and swelling do you think? Or left over scar tissue

Hi Lou :)
I don't profess to be any kind of expert but ive just had BA 5 weeks ago. My right breast near the cleavage felt a bit lumpy, my PS said not to worry, that it was more than likely my breast tissue I could feel :) x

When you have a 'capsulotomy' the capsule isn't removed, unlike a 'casulectomy' whereby they take everything away.
With a capsulotomy it's far less invasive and likely why you didn't have a drain in that side....the capsule remains where it is but the top of the capsule is scored so it will have a length of cuts across the top of the capsule. The new implant is then re-inserted and over time the gaps between the scored capsule will fill in giving you a nice soft capsule again.
It's likely that it more difficult replacing the implant on that side than it were on the other hence why it feels a little more tender and the lumpiness could well be the scoring that you're feeling.
It'll all settle down Loui but if you're concerned at all, a quick call to the clinic to arrange a check up is all that's needed sweetheart. X

Thanks ladies I think it's most likely to be swelling as it's a hard mass that is tender and slight bruising under the skin. I'm going to leave it to settle and not obsess over it. If in a weeks time I still have concerns I will raise it with the nurse when she takes the stich es out. The skin is thin and hardly any tissue so it maybe as you say cookie thst it's the old capsule I feel Hope not as I want perfection this time! X

I had lumps in that breast before the revision I have had a gentle feel and the lumps feel exactly as they did before maybe I'm just being paranoid but really worried I've just gone through this revision and still going to end up with a lumpy breast. Strange thing is its where it should be flat as anatomical shape there shouldn't be upper pole funless but that's where the lump is so it looks like a shelf. Will try n take a photo n put it on my trail at some point

Aww thanks hun feel a bit better it's
On the one I have capsulotomy on so maybe it's fluid or swelling or an irritated milk duct? Feels tender x what did your nurse say it was?

Even if it anatomicals upper pole fullness is normal and my ridge is just where the boobs need to settle. Mine got worse as swelling went down but starting to settle now xxxx
