Really don't know what to do to be honest. If I'm half as as she has been then I'm going to end up having to cancel the operation but I can't fit it in with work any other time.

Don't cancel yourself, leave it upto the clinic. They might say it's ok to carry on. It may just be a virus. And not real flu. Thry don't udually cancel unless absolout nessasary. I hope you are ok. Get lots of rest and drink plenty of water . Big hugs xxx

Hope you feel better soon, I had flu not so long ago. Take paracetamol, not ibroprfen as it can thin blood which wouldn't be good before op. Also make honey and lemon drink: put water in a cup, add fresh lemon juice, tbsp of honey, and pinch of cinnamon. Drink this when you want. Will get you feelings better hun x x

Don't cancel ba, you've got 10 days to recover. You'll be fine hun, rest when you can. Also shower if you can, steam will get rid of stuffy nose x x

Oh no! Fear not, you have time to recover! The shower tricks works wonders for me, I stand in there for ages when ill clearing out passages (sorry maybe sounds gross but works!). Get loads of rest and sleep and I agree, I would take paracetamol too but maybe check with clinic first. If it's really bad, you could check with your clinic to see if you could take a decongestant. Many things are risky so check first, but there may be something that doesn't pose a risk that might help. For me, sleep is my best medicine. Good luck x

You've got 10 days to recover before your op, as others have said drink plenty hot lemon drinks to get vitamin c , paracetamol & plenty of rest if you can, there's time for you to be feeling better so don't cancel just yet.
Hope you start to feel better soon. XXX

Hey Lou don't panic, take Mammamia and Mirrens advice and dose yourself up on good stuff. It should all be clearing up by then. Just take good care of yourself until then. Good luck xx
