Perfect boobs and nipple position

I'm not sure if this has been discussed on this website before but I found this (old) article which I found really interesting:

It talks about nipple position and fullness above and below the nipple, with the ideal nipple height being 55% boob below the nipple and 45% above.

For me, I have one nipple naturally higher than the other and I'm contemplating whether to ask my surgeon to raise the implant as currently it's slightly lower than the other boob, which in turn makes the nipple seem even higher as the bulk of the boobs is lower (if that makes sense!). But now this article says a higher nipple position is more desirable!! Confused.com!!

I actually think focussing on what's most desirable 'to you' is what you should be aiming for hun. 

I personally never even thought the nipple position would affect the look of your boobs, but it does. 

I have perfectly entered nipple height and I hate it! I personally don't think they look natural at all. But then, I'm 46 years old. On a younger lady I suppose she'd be thrilled but I've asked my surgeon as one of my requests to lower my nipple height so they're not sat centred pointing at everyone lol. 

I will also point out that I have round implants and my skin is quite tight even four years on, so I have sorta what I call, porn star boobs lol. They're nice boobs but in the picture in the link it's a much more natural shape than I have and although I have a natural shape to the top, it's the same without a bra on. So I have boobs that sit perfect just as they would without a bra. I sound like a whinger because I feel anybody else might be thrilled with these but 'for me' I have the boobs of a young woman.....I asked for a natural Breast and I got natural for a young woman. Not natural for a woman my age. 

It now sounds like I want a couple of tennis balls thrown in socks hahaha. That's not what I'm after at all. I'm after a VERY natural shape with the nipple slightly lowered, so they're not centered like in the pic. That's just not for me. 

So I'd say it's OK to say it's that most desired, but the most desired by whom? 

We're all different and what's eight for one just ain't right for another. Xx

Ooh, I don't know how I feel about that nipple placement. Its all a bit teenage I think. I don't think my nipples ever pointed up in the air lol I like them to face forward.

So true cookie! I guess for me I like my shape (very natural and they do sag accordingly with the rest of my body and age!) I'm just not sure about the asymmetry with my nipple height! Independently both look lovely and even in real life it's not so noticeable either. But in photos it's really obvious! Must.stop.analysing!!! One minute I think I should be grateful as compared to before they are a godsend! But then I think I paid £1000s I want perfection lol! Will chat to my surgeon when I see him again in feb x

Lol Jen! I wish I had those boobs when I was a teenager!

You're never gonna get perfection babe  any surgeon you see will tell you the same. 

As much as we strive for perfection there's always only so much a surgeon can do and in many cases things can look worse than they did before. 

But that's just my opinion and from my own experiences...YOUR boobs are all about you lovely and if you want change and you think it'll make you feel happier - then you go for it mammamia. Xx

Thanks hun. Going to chat it though but I agree perfection shouldn't be a goal as nature didn't even intend on me having boobs! It's so important to manage expectations and whilst a part of me would love my nipples to be level, I also realise that naturally loads of women have 1 higher than the other! I'm sure it could be corrected on me, but at the same time I think it may not be worth the risk of going under the knife again and in the grand scheme of things be a bit silly seen as it's not a 'complication'. I don't exactly have a career as a page 3 model!! Food for thought!

I think, and sorry if im speaking out of turn, if your boobs have healed nicely, no CC etc, then they are probably best left alone. Its probably not worth pressing with them and risking aggrevating tissue or whatever if they are happy. Also,im of the opinion that every surgery carries risks to health.
I do understand that you don't feel great about the asymmetry, and I might sound like a hypocrite with all the drama ive been off loading about mine at the moment, but you are right in thinking that what u have mow is miles from what u had. Everyone has one boob bigger/higher etc naturally.
Sometimes I think we all strive for perfection, and the more we do, the further away it seems x x

Not a hypocrite at all jen! I really appreciate your opinion and also agree with everything you say! I think sometimes we just need to be told lol!!!
