Choosing your size
Hey! I'm having real trouble deciding on my size! Im 5.7 32B size 8/10! My surgeon told me 260cc would look best 'sculpt' my body and would give me a C cup! I told him I really wanted to achieve a D cup! He said 300cc would give me that if I really wanted! I know it seems silly to go against a professional opinion but when your paying so much and want a size so badly! I don't want to be disappointed! Can someone please tell me what the rice test is? I've heard of it but I'm not to sure how it works? Boob greed taking over :(

Re: Choosing your size
Your surgeon might of said that because of if you go bigger there is a chance of problems. I'm going back to see my surgeon to see if I can go bigger, but if he says no I'll take his word for it. The rice test, measure say 300g of cooked rice, basmati is good. Cool down, and put in tights or sandwich bags, then put in non padded bra x x

Re: Choosing your size
Hi, In your post you didn't say what shape implants your surgeon was recommending, smaller sizes in the anatomical implant tend to offer more projection than rounds because of their shape according to implant catalogues, also starting with a B cup you may not need a larger implant to get you your desired size.
Always best to go back and see your surgeon to go over sizes where you are unsure, take some pics along with you to show your surgeon what you are hoping to achieve, focusing on size/look rather than cup size, as our perceptions of cup sizes can be wrong evens surgeons. In showing him the pics you can be sure he knows what you are after ,as in just describing what you want you cant be sure he is visualising what you are meaning.
I found an older post that may help, you can see the guide for rice boobs by clicking [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
no cooking involved.
Have fun making them.XXX

I'm not sure why uncooked but my surgeon also said uncooked rice. I used some cheap stocking tights and uncooked basmati rice xx

Ha ha! Uncooked because cooked will give you a horrible sticky mess.

What I did was buy a bra in the size I wanted to be and kept adding (uncooked) rice until it was filled out properly. Then I tipped the rice into a measuring jug and read of the volume in CC's
The odd thing was that my surgeon got the volume spot on by just looking at me.

Re: Choosing your size
Please remember that the rice test is only a guide to what your resulting size might be, it's not an exact sizing.
Have you seen only one surgeon AP? You may find you feel better seeing at least one other surgeon not only for you to have another consultation to compare to, but to also give yourself the opportunity of KNOWING you did all you could before making such a big decision and knowing the surgeon you're using is 'the one' which you can't possibly 'know' unless you've seen at least one other to compare to. Xxx

Re: Choosing your size
Uncooked! They'll last longer!!
Surgeons don't work in cup sizes, so sometimes it's a little misgiving when they give you a size. Mine said I'll be a nice C, I'm in DDs and Es. Go by what look you like, not a bra size. The rice can give a good idea, not 100%, but close. I've got a thread on it in the ba info section, rice v results.

Re: Choosing your size
Surely cooked rice will swell, so will give a false size? Hope it's with dried for definite as that''s what I've been doing :/ x
