Thinking of going bigger!!!
hi girls! I'm having 295cc low profile conical implants, surgeon picked 225cc but I decided bigger. I've read on another forum some people have had the same and aren't happy cause they look small. And that's with 295cc! At appointment surgeon didn't seem happy about medium to high profile, doesn't like the fake look. I think it's best I make another appointment for re sizing. At the moment I'm a size 8, 5ft 5, 32a, ribs cage size 29 inches x x

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Thats sounds like a much nicer size, its not up to the surgeon if he doesn't like the fake look. you can still have big implants and look natural. whens your next appointment.

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
I agree, its not up to the surgeon about the end outlook. I wasonly really listen to his advice if he was to say that size because bigger comes with higher risks and complications. if that is not the case then go that little bigger for sure :) I have medium profile, wanted high but so happy with the mediums x

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Its totally up to you, you will have look at yourself with them forever after. Its not as though 325 is ridiculous for your frame either. You have to be 100% happy, its a lot to go through and a lot to pay to potentially be as unhappy as you were before :)

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
I've got 800s, I'm 5.8 and 10 stone 6. They are big but look fab! All the nurses said they was thinking oh dear 800s but agreed they looked great on me. Have you done the rice tights? It's not ideal but does help a little. Xx

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Hiya Hun! Yeah I done the rice test and the 325 cc looked better, I'm panicking at the moment cause on another forum a women said to Dr garrick she wanted bigger and he got moody with her, and she went with what he said and now regrets it cause the look small x x

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
If your surgeon wont do what makes you happy (within reason obviously) then change surgeons. Its your choice, your body and your money. If he gets moody he isn't the guy for you <3

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Hi,
It's always better to go back & see surgeon where you are concerned about your implant size , you want to be happy with your choice & more importantly your results at the end of the day.
Do bare in mind that conical implants due to their shape offer the highest projection of breast implants even in low profile.
The 295 low profile conical implant being ( width/ height 11.8 ,projection 5.3) is comparable size/projection wise , if not a tiny bit bigger , to the Natrelle Inspira 345 full profile ( width/height 12.0 ,projection 4.9) & Nagor Impleo 390 high profile (width/height 11.8 projection 5.1).
The 325 moderate profile conical being (width/height 11.8 ,projection 5.8) is comparable to Natrelle Inspira 400 extra full profile ( width/ height 11.75 ,projection 5.8) & Nagor Impleo 420 extra high profile (width/height 11.9 ,projection 5.6).
Hope this helps in some way & hasn't got you more confused. XXX

It's hard to try and explain otherwise. And I don't know about you but there is always something I forget to ask or say and remember when I get home. Xx

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Hey hun you are almost identical stats to my daughter and she had 340cc natrelle high profile unders and they are fab! She's around a large c to small d and they suit her perfectly. They were very high and square to start with but she is now five months on and they look real! They have given her the perfect figure. She was originally going to go for smaller too but is glad she didn't. I am a lot taller at 5ft10 so went for 390s but that would have been too big for her. A good idea is to do the rice test too hun as I have found it to be pretty accurate xx

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Derinately take a picture with you of the size & look your are after, that way you can be sure the surgeon knows what you are after result wise, as in just describing size & shape you can't be sure he is visualising what you are meaning.
When people hear the word low profile they imagine a flatter looking implant, which is true in any other type of implant except conical, which in even the smaller sized implants offer quite substantial projection.
If you type conical into the search bar on here it may bring up some posts that will help.
Good luck when you next see your surgeon, hope everything goes well & you come away happy with the implant choice. XXX

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
Thats good advice. I took lots of pictures with me. I also took pictures of the kind of look I really didn't want, my surgeon said they were super helpful too.
Hope you feel better after your next appointment :)

Re: Thinking of going bigger!!!
I'd ask why he's reluctant. If its a safety issue, then that's fair enough (my surgeon took 340 and 375 in, but the 340 was the biggest we could safely go). If its an asthetic reason...well that's not really his choice. Plus who says that a high profile or larger implant will look fake? Its down to the skill of the surgeon to make it not look fake. I have 340 XHP and mine are the natural look I was after. I agree with Mirrens comment re conicals...but if that's what you want, that's what you want. Have you seen other surgeons? Maybe best to shop about a bit for some other opinions.
