Re: Good Luck Kezjb BA 17/10/14
Hello :)
Woke up in agony in recovery, felt like I couldn't breathe, but after a cocktail of painkillers and a sleep felt loads better and not really in pain till I move around.
Managed to go to the loo by myself and was really pleased as couldn't pick a cup up myself, the strange dvt massage socks took me by surprise and were so annoying!! I had to unplug them to have a wee and then they started beeping so a nurse came and caught me on the loo with the door open!
Home now, my mum and dad have been fab and walked me dogs so they're a big calmer.
Sat watching TV now, think I will have a sleep soon.
Already chuffed with them appearance wise even my mum and dad said they look natural.

Re: Good Luck Kezjb BA 17/10/14
Thank you :)
Forgot to add had a total shock, asked for the serial number etc of my implants and only when I got home did I look and see I've got mentor implants!! Looked through all my documentation and within some the clinic states they ONLY use natrelle and allergen.
Rang the clinic in a panic - at this point I haven't even heard of mentor implants. And was told my surgeon picks and orders the implants and he's a very good surgeon etc. she told me mentor were good quality and not to worry. She said my surgeon would have picked what suited me.
That's all very well and good and I trust my surgeon if that's the case but why was I told I was having natrelles? mentors are not mentioned anywhere within my paperwork?!
I think the clinics other surgeons must use natrelle and everything was pre populated. I'm pretty peeved I found out like this though, if I hadn't have asked I would never have known!
