Preparing - Oils, Arnica etc..Any recommendations?
Hi,
I am due to have a breast enlargement along with an uplift in a couple of months...
I went for my second consultation with Dr Kat yesterday, and her nurse advised to take Arnica tablets 2 weeks before and also us some kind of oil containing Vitamin A or E ( cant remember) .
Has any one used oils to prep the tissue, and if so what kind should I be looking for?
Also, apart from the basics (no ibuprofen/fish oils/ garlic a week or 2 before etc) does anyone have any advice for making sure I heal better & don't get stretch marks etc?
Also... has anyone had Pure / Furry Brazilian round implants as these are whet I am having
Thanks

I'd check on using the 'Vitimin E' pre-op Lairyfairy. It's just that all vitamins are generally not to be taken around 2 weeks before your op.
You can use that Post op just just check on that pre op.
To prepare mine, I just used any old moisturiser that was laying around. As long as the moisture is getting into the skin it'll help make it nice and supple. No need for expensive sorts. Any moisturiser at all will do.
You should be aware that as stretch marks go - if you're gonna get 'em Lairyfairy, you're gonna get 'em. There's nothing on the market that will stop you getting stretch marks, but the better condition your skin, the better chance of not getting them hun.
To help with healing requires a good diet and that can now. There's a thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that will help with that.
Following instruction helps too. It can sometimes be very tempting not to listen and end up aching, hurting yourself or worse.
As soon as you're feeling able, getting yourself up is great. Even if you just start off walking to the loo. Making yourself a cuppa. Little things like that till you're able to take a short walk outside building up to a good walk a couple of times a day. Xxx
