New boob and Uni Freshers
Hi everyone :)
I go back to uni on the 28th of September and my BA was on the 4th September. Therefore when I go back to uni I will be 3.5 weeks post op. At the moment my recovery is going well, but I'm resting lots.
When I go back I will be thrown into uni fresher's which is a 10 day drinkathon and mad nights out. I'm just wondering whether you think I will be able to participate in these, and also if anyone can think of any excuses as to why I am maybe not going out as much and drinking as much as I normally would. I don't really want to be seen as the 'party pooper'.
No one knows about my BA apart from my parents and I don't want anyone at uni to know, therefore I cant say that i've had a boob job which is why i'm scared of going out.
Thank you xx

Re: New boob and Uni Freshers
From what my son told me of freshens week you're not going to like what I say Gabriella but it's a great big fat NO babe. You definitely won't be able to do that.
You'd still be VERY early in your recovery and one knock on those boobs which will undoubtedly happen and it could put your healing back all the way to week one again Gabriella. That's if nothing worse happens. It's just not 'in my opinion' worth the risk hun.
You could use the excuse as a bad back, this will answer for any tiredness you may have, because you may well still be very tired over those weeks, you could add to that that because you're on pain medication and anti-bis you're unable to drink. It's easily sorted so that mates and associates don't know and won't even question lovely, but if really wouldn't risk freshers week at all - they're CRAZY! Xxx

Thanks cookie, I think you're absolutely right to be honest. I'm going into second year and last year freshers was mental. I think the chances of me getting knocked into are almost 100%. So maybe best to give it a miss. The bad back is a brilliant idea! Genius lady! And good thinking on the antibiotics too. Thank yoooou! X

Awww well at least you've done a freshers week, I was beginning to feel so sorry for you not experiencing it, because again from what my son said - it was mad, but it had to done lol.
Glad you're OK about not being able to go this year though and you're very welcome Gabriella. Xx
