8 week update - 330cc hp subfascial overs!
I'm now 8 weeks post op and after lots of ups, downs, and an abundance of patience I now finally love my boobs!! The ladies on here have been priceless and their reassurance has kept me sane - thank you!
As everyone always told me, my boobs will change loads so don't get caught up on how they look early days! Sure enough they have and just as one has become my 'better boob' the other has trumped it and vice versa! I still have a bit of settling to my right boob which sits a bit higher when a raise my arms but hopefully that will come!
I had 330cc hp overs in subfacial placement. My recovery has been great with 2 weeks off work and then back to normal! I wore a chest strap day and night for the first 5 weeks and then went to night only until 7 weeks. I actually found this quite comfy in the end and helped prevent any bounce!! I restarted Pilates at 5 weeks (with drs permission) and circuits this week and feel great to be more active again! Also managed a 3 night mini break in Italy at 6 weeks with no dramas and felt great putting on a bikini (albeit ill-fitted at that time! Just bought a cheap 34d one in the h&m sale for £6!!).
I've ended up taking out the baaps insurance for piece of mind. I only took it out afterwards as forgot to ask before and although my surgeon said I'm typically through the worst of it as a lot of issues have early indicators, I've taken it anyway so feel better for knowing I have 3 years of cover.
And finally I've been naughty and been bra shopping! I had every intention of just buying 2 bras but I'm now the proud owner of 9 sets and 2 bikinis!!! Ops. But my surgeon seems to think they won't change a great deal now, just soften more. They are nice and squidgy now and can be moved around! I think because I had overs they have softened and dropped quite quickly. Well fingers crossed I won't be binning the bras in a year!!! I got measured in an independent lingerie shop and measured 30F or 28G in their panache/freya bras. I then went to m&s to see what I was in their sizing and was 32DD! I'm so chuffed with the size but at times I think I'll need to put my sports bra back on to minimise them! I'd actually got used to how they looked in a sports bra and now all of a sudden they look huge in a basic moulded t shirt bra! I also got a panache sports bra which is like a concrete bra...those boobs ain't going no where!!
Exciting times and sorry for the essay! Any questions ask away and good luck to all the newbies! Your time will come and you'll love it! Enjoy the process! x

That's so great to hear - I love your avi and think your pic trail pics are looking amazing! Its so good to hear about all the changes. Was reading a bit of a scaremongering site yesterday where people were saying how they'd done the op and immediately regretted it, that they never felt their boobs were part of them and I have to say it freaked me out a bit. But then knowing what I know from all the ladies on here I am ready for the ups and downs! I'm also really pleased to hear you are active again as I am so worried about the excercise side of things!
But 2nd consultation booked with Mrs Kat now for 2nd Sept so if I am happy after that, I may finally get a BA date booked!
I am so pleased that its all going well for you - congratulations!

Have a look at the stickies on the General Breast Augmentation board. Not all BAAPS surgeons offer it though.

Re: 8 week update - 330cc hp subfascial overs!
Thanks daisychains! Yes there are lots of negative stories and always worth being aware of things that could go wrong but on balance more positive ones! I did go through a stage at about 2-3 weeks of wondering whether I'd done the right thing as you start feeling ok....but you don't look ok!! But that soon passes. As hellsbells mentions there is a good sticky on the insurance and details in this website [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It's only offered by baaps surgeons but I didn't realise not all offer it. In fact mine hadn't had a patient ask about it previously but was aware of it so contacted the provider and arranged it for me. It wasn't an offering up front, probably because there wasn't that much awareness of it! Good luck at your next appt!

Its so nice to hear you are getting on well with your new boobies, it must be a lovely feeling to now be finally enjoying them after 8 weeks. I never realised just how much they change after surgery, im so glad I know that now before hand or I think id freak out at knowing what kind of weird and wonderful shapes and sizes they form!
I will definitely be asking my surgeon about this insurance as I know he is BAAPS. Is it the same price for everyone do you know? x

I think the price is the same per surgeon, the only variable is the level of cover you want. I think the cost is listed on the website, I think it starts at around £100 for about £2500 worth of cover and then goes up from that!

Such a fab update, so glad you're happy. Interesting to hear what you say about being bigger in 'normal' bras as although I'm wearing a 32E sports bra right now I feel small as they feel quite squished!
By the way, re the BAAPS - my Surgeon is the vice-president of BAAPS and doesn't offer this insurance!!!

Re: 8 week update - 330cc hp subfascial overs!
My surgeon at 3m said 'nope they're done, I doubt they'll change much more'...3m later I had to re-buy all my bras up a cup! Well, most, a size smaller does wonders for a cleavage ;)
I'm so glad you're loving them, I love seeing all the success stories here, it really does help everyone pre op, and spreads the love to know that we're all helping you and you us! Those bad boys are going to keep softening over the coming months and you'll grow more and more in love with them!

I found it annoying that I didn't see my surgeon til three months and by then it was pretty too late to make my.right drop. I wonder if.I had been given a band or told to.massage would I now be facing revision surgery? X

Re: 8 week update - 330cc hp subfascial overs!
Lou that's a shame, did they feel it was too late to try at 3 months then? Was the pocket too small? I guess if it was too small it may not have made a difference anyway. Hopefully it will all be sorted soon and you'll be good before you know it!
Franbo they definitely seem bigger with normal bras! I arrived home today to a delivery from John Lewis of a bra i ordered in the sale....I unpacked it and thought jeez it's bloody huge I've ordered the wrong size but oh no it fits!!
Charli yikes I hope I won't be re-buying!!! That will teach me! I'm known for being impatient....I blame my impatience on having 2 premature babies!!! He did say it was unlikely though, maybe because they are overs they fluff less!
Thanks ladies!

Overs fluff just as much as unders! It may well be you're all done, our go to fluffing picture happened at just 5wks. Just warning you, there may be changes yet to come, even if your surgeon says otherwise!!

BAAPS insurance is additional aftercare that you can pay for. In isn't only available with certain members of BAAPS. There's a sticky in the general section that will be able to give you more information.

I had subfascial overs too 340 cc mine did continue to change although I developed cc so that's why with me. I've since swapped to anatomical subfascial and they look different again but can wait to see what they are like in 6 weeks time. Nothing wrong with bra shopping enjoy them x

Hi mammamia! Great result you have, could I ask did you have polyurethane implants? And which profile & cc did you have please ? I've booked in for poly overs July! But Im worried about natural Breast tissue sagging with polys?? I originally wanted allergan natrelle responsive implants but now feeling confused ?!!

Re: 8 week update - 330cc hp subfascial overs!
No i had nagor impleo round subfascial overs. They were 330cc high profile. I'm now nearly 1 year post op it's totally true that they get better over time!
There are lots of ladies on here with the furries, don't have any experience myself but lots of ladies very happy with them! I guess it depends on how much 'sag' you have preop but definitely discuss your concerns with the surgeon! And ask why he recommends them over the allergans. Then you can weigh it up!

I'm keeping my eye out for ladies with furries! Lol some ppl have said their natural Breast has started to sag but the implant has stayed put ! I'm def keeping my options open to furries and allergans , I'm going to try & see my surgeon in a week ️xxx

Yes there have been a few cases of that but remember everyone's anatomy is different and it's impossible to compare. Only your sirgeon can say how at risk of that you are personally so definitely raise it! Good luck next week!
