It would be much easier if I would have got the surgeons contact details instead of keep contacting the patient care coordinator. They're just silly little questions but would make more sense to go direct to him. Xx

Re: email surgeon
thats what I loved about going straight to my surgeon and not through a company I have his email and his mobile number and the contact has been great, when I was looking at a reop he used to keep in very regular contact xx

It would make more sense, I will ask him for it when I see him next. Xx

Re: email surgeon
You'll be lucky. Going through the commercial clinics means that they can pass the aftercare onto the PCC's. Sad but true. Hopefully he'll be nice enough to give them to you, but more often than not you'll be politely asked to make all contact via the central customer services or your PCC. Unless you go private, you don't get that personal touch I think. That's not to say I haven't had a great service with THG, after my op my nurse kept in touch regularly and I had her direct email for any problems.

Re: email surgeon
Can't fault them so far, my pcc is fantastic I have spoke to her today and she is great not really bothered if it's direct with him, I just feel I don't want to keep mithering them over daft questions. I see the nurse tomorrow. In fairness all the staff I have spoke to from booking to going into hospital they have all been really lovely. Xx

Re: email surgeon
yeah he used to call me every monday just to see how I was feeling and if i felt that the compression band was working so that was nice even if it was a 2 second call lol
the funniest was when I emailed him a few weeks after my reop asking if having a few beers would damage by boobs and his reply was only if I fell over onto them lol xx

Re: email surgeon
Haha, that's something I would ask. When I went for my consultation my surgeon said something and did a little shrug I didn't quite catch what he said so instead of asking I just took it upon myself to start lifting and stretching my arms he looked at me as of I was mad and said I just said you have a slight droop. So embarrassed. Xxx
