Implant cc - bra size???
Hi ladies! Hope all of your new lovely boobies are healing well :)
I want to know what CC you've had and your bra size outcome? To see how different it is for everyone. Trying to decide what kind of size I want to be before I go for a consultation but everyday I want to be bigger haha! I did rice test with 300cc which I was happy with... Then was researching and found some girls had 400/425cc implants which looked the same as 300cc rice test on me... It's all do difficult haha
Thanks

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
Hi Robyn. If you look at the sticky above, you can see all the girls post op stats. From this you'll see that it doesn't matter what Cc you have, it's going to come out different on every single girl. You can have identical stats and come out different. You could have a smaller Cc and end up larger than others. It's all down to the individual. Your surgeon should recommend the best size for you.
For me, I had 340, and I'm now anywhere between 32D, DD or E depending on the bra. So even once you're done, you won't be one static size!

Hi Charlii! Will have a gander at it now :) I find it so strange how there is so much of a difference, doesn't make sense in my little noggin hahaha. I know the shape etc I want so I think I'll just give up with sizes myself and take the pics in to show them and see what they think is best. Don't want to wait any longer to get them done, hoping I win the lottery on Friday lol ;) xx

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
I think its so easy to try and focus on size, but the surgeon is working in volume. You need to think about the look you want, so yes, take lots of pics of what you like the look of, and then the surgeon should advise what's best for you and your body. Fingers crossed for the lottery!!

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
Might ring up next week and book a local appointment to get me started, won't be till next year I actually go ahead and plenty more consultations with other surgeons but the sooner I start the more I'll know :)
Another little concern / question... No one is taking me seriously about it. My mum and sister just kind of brush it off as if it's nothing, it's alright for them... My mum has natural E/Fs and my sister is a D :( putting me down a bit as they know I hate how I am at the minute and would love their support! OH is getting annoyed with all my boob talk and hates how I talk about myself so said he's excited for me to get them done but he loves my little ones hahaha! Why won't my family acknowledge it?! Did anyone else have this problem and did they get the better the further into you got?? Xx

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
Sorry to hear you're not getting support from your family. I have been considering a boob job since I was 17 and whenever I brought it up my concerns were brushed off by family too. But when I changed from thinking about it to actually 'I'm seriously considering/I'm actually doing it' they were all (to my complete surprise) incredibly supportive. You might find the same when they realise you are serious. I think family don't like to think you're unhappy and just want reassure you. My ex wouldn't hear anything about a boob job, my BF now is totally supportive, he was very eager to make sure he wasn't encouraging me for his benefit, but he knows it's something I'm doing for me.
I love my rice boobies and hope my implants come out the same size, I've looked at so many stats an like Charli says some girls come out huge with 300cc and others hardly change. I'm worried I won't be big enough but at the same time don't want to be huge, just got to trust my surgeon on that one and make my wishes clear.

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
Oh I would definitely go and get an appointment as a kickstarter. Until you do that, there are so many unknowns. I had my first consultation in Jan 2012. I was no where near ready to go ahead, emotionally or financially, but I needed to know what I'd be looking at. It wasn't until March 2013 that I had my 'proper' consultations, and had my op June 2013. The more you know!
I haven't experienced that myself, but I know a lot of girls do, especially the younger ones. Anybody not considering a BA will just not get it. But you are an adult, its your body and your decision. I would say get as much research in as you can. Read every inch of this forum, get to know your implants, aftercare options, medical qualification etc. Then when you are ready to say 'lets do this' you'll be armed with everything you need to sit down with them and say look, this is how I feel, this is what I'm doing, its for me and no one else, I'm going ahead with this regardless of what you think, but I'd love your support. I had zero support from my parents, but my friends supported me, and most of all my husband did. He was the one to help me through the recovery, and that's all I needed.
Best of luck with the research!!

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
I know they think I shouldn't get one 'because You don't need one, you're fine as you are' the same sentence off everyone haha!
Kez, glad everyone came round for you :) hoping my lot do soon too! My boyfriend said 'I'll give you money towards it if I'm the first one to touch them' typical male lol.
I've only tried 300cc rice boobs! Going to play around with bigger soon and see how I feel. I considered wearing rice boobs out to see how I feel properly but didn't dare lol.
thank you for the advice charlii, defo going to get one booked next week. Is it worth paying to see the actual surgeon? Or for this one would the free appointment with the customer care be alright? Don't mind paying for consultation, just wanna make sure I get as much info as I need

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
I approached it slightly differently. I had no preconceived ideas about CC's and just went to the consultation wearing one of the padded bras that I normally wear. When the surgeon asked about size, I just aid that I want to be as big as this but without any padding in the bra. I also said that I wanted them to look as natural as possible. He suggested that I could get the result with 240 to 270 cc implants, certainly no bigger than 300.
I tried the rice boobs with 240, 270 and 300 cc volume later when I got home and I think 270 will give the look that I'm after.

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
That's a good idea :) I'm too excited so keep thinking about it and had to try it lol. Did he suggest you have tear drops to make it more natural? I want a natural look but worried about movement of the tear drops as I have read a few girls had problems with that. I also have what I call 'ski slope nipples' haha the top of my boob is empty so my nipples seem as though they're flicking upward - if that makes any sense lol. So I was thinking about going for rounds but don't want the stuck on look. Gosh, if
I could grow my own it'd be so much easier, my surgeon is definitely going to have a big influence on my decision about what they think would be best! Xx

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
I'm going with round overs. He didn't suggest teardrops as he reckons I have enough existing breast tissue not to need them. As far as I can see, in most cases, rounds eventually end up teardrop shaped anyway.
I was also pleased when he said I would be a suitable case for overs as I have fairly well toned pecs and didn't want any issues with exercise. Overs are also said to 'age' better which is a concern for me.
As well as reading all the info on this site, I'd recommend that you get hold a copy of the "Good Boob Bible" and read it cover to cover.

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
Customer care people are sales pitchers and that's it. But you don't necessarily have to pay to see a surgeon. THG you see both a sales girl and a surgeon on the same day, no cost. Transform you can ask to see a surgeon on the same day, otherwise it's a complete waste of your time. There are plenty of ways to see a surgeon for free and you are not obligated at all.
Also, you don't have to have tear drops for a natural look. Take a look at all the avis on here and I bet you can't guess the rounds from the anatomicals. Rounds end up tear shaped anyway when they fluff. There's a great pic of an xray of the two different implants somewhere round here, and they're identical. Again, it's something your surgeon will advise which is best for you.

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
The approach I took with my family was just to tell them that I was booked in! I didn't want/need their input but I did feel that they should know haha...also I didn't say when I was getting it done so they still don't know but maybe when I see my parents in a few weeks they will notice? They might not because the amount of padding in my normal bras was quite a lot!
Also I have chosen 400cc anatomicals, I saw 6 different clinics and 4 different surgeons before I found the one!
Just to add to Charlii's comments above about it being difficult to see a surgeon on your first appointment, this is very true apart from THG and MyBreast (you pay £25).
2 of the 4 surgeons suggested anatomicals for me and I'm really happy with them, but the surgeons will be able to advise you on what they think is best for you.
Also for reference I was before a 34A/B and although it's early days for me (16 days post op) I'm currently in a 34D.
Good luck! x

I haven't told my family cos I'm a big girl now.
If you go direct to a surgeon and don''t use a company, you get to see a surgeon.

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
Sorry to hear you're family aren't being supportive, they're probably just being a bit unaware of how it is affecting you as they don't "get it" and think you're perfect as you are. People seem to be a bit Hmm when they find/found out but it's then amazing the amount of people who then say, well I would consider it after/when and actually end up really interested.
As for the sizes, as above everyone does seem to come out totally different which is no help I know.
I saw a private surgeon and had 2 consultations with him but this was via BMI.

Re: Implant cc - bra size???
I'm having tear drops to achieve the natural look but it's not the same for everyone, I am also having unders, so the risk of them moving is much less.
I'm petite with my boobs high on my torso so teardrops and unders will help hide the top of the implant. Some ladies can have rounds and look natural though, that's something your surgeon can help you decide.
Someone on here recommended the "good boob bible" to me, it's a brilliant read and beats google drs and hearsay :)
