I can't believe it!
I've had a crazy weekend doing the 3 peak challenge. This is where you climb the highest moubtains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Had a moment of thinking it wasn't such a good idea in case I broke an ankle or something but I've just got tired legs :)
Glad to be in my bed now for a proper nights sleep and then I have all day tomorrow to do a bit of cleaning, making food and washing and then I have to be at the hospital 7am Tuesday morning. ...yikes!

What did you all do in the last day before your ops?

So exciting, it's come round fast for you! Day before mine I had my usual day off work with the kids but I remember it all being very surreal and everyone we met and saw I just wanted to tell as it felt like such a major thing! I managed to keep it quiet though! Keep busy and it will fly and get an early night!!!

We'll done on doing the three peaks, what a way to count off the days!

Hope you have a good day, I hadn't thought about getting food ready! I'm working the days before mine unfortunately so going to have to be a bit more organised to be all set!

Wow congratulations on doing the 3 peak challenge!     Cheerleader     Come Tuesday you'll have your own 2 peak challenge to look forward to!....lol.
I worked up until the day before mines & deliberately left packing bag until morning of op just to keep my mind busy & pre op nerves at bay.
Having now had a BA think next time will be more excited than nervous/ worried knowing what to expect.
Good luck, this time tomorrow evening you'll have your new additions!      woohoo      XXX

Well done on the three peaks challenge, thats an great achievement and must have took your mind off of things.

The day before my op I used all my nervous energy in to manically cleaning, washing and ironing everything to be as prepared as possible for afterwards. I couldn't sleep the night before my op and had to be at the hospital for 7am too.

Good luck for tomorrow x good luck

Wow, that's impressive!

The day before mine, I was probably being shouted at by hubs for not packing! I can't remember to be honest, but that sounds about right! We made our way up to birmingham as I had a 7am call and didn't fancy getting up at stupid o'clock, so we checked into the travelodge  a day earlier. Except they'd had a power out, so them we had to go over to the holiday Inn, which actually wasn't too bad. Had a sammich at 11.30, hubs freaked out over why I wasn't freaking out, then went to sleep! Up bright and early for last shower and off to the clinic!

Thanks Ladies!
I just hobbled to the shops and back,  going to cook a nice dinner for the BF in anticipation of him looking after me!
Most cleaning done now,  just tidying up and some washing.
Will pack my bag later tonight but think I have most of it to hand!
