Ive updated my Picturetrail if anyone wants to see. I've also changed my password so msg me for the new password. (I got a bit obsessed with pictures in the Hospital as I was on my own and I felt like you lot were sharing my experience!!  Hysterical )

photos look amazing sharon! regarding the nipple going black you mention above...unfortunately i can't advise you maybe one of the more experienced ladies can, but when i was in hospital the nurse opened my bindings quite a few times as she wanted to check the colour of my nipples.  I didn't ask what she was looking for but maybe if you don't get an answer here phone your surgeon in the morning!

I had bruising round my boob Hun not around my nipple...  Sounds like your left has had more trauma Hun as they are separate ops...I put ice pack over mine wrapped in a towell. Made them feel a bit better xx

They should keep checking the colour of your nips the same as a dr would the colour of your nails, just to make sure the blood is flowing properly. If you're worried, call one of the nurses.

Yeah pushes them down and together I think!? It's here to stay for 6 weeks!! So I'd best get used to it. Hardest thing is gonna be trying to find a dress to wear to my best mates hen do on the 26th to the races!  shrug  Xx

Guess you'll be going for something with a high neck! i am looking forward to having my dressings off tomorrow and then going to get another sports bra, without a racer back if possible, so i can wear more summery tops!

Good really. Im have been uncomfortable when I've woken up the last few days as i guess all the meds have run out and then achey again from 7pm ish. I must admit to being pretty crap at just sitting and resting. I haven't been lifting anything heavy or carrying my girls or but i have been wandering round the garden and the shops etc. apart from an afternoon nap each day i can't sit still for long! No boobie blues for me yet, hopefully I've passed that stage now. All in all i feel very lucky with my recovery so far, just hope my wounds are ok when i get them checked tomorrow. How are you feeling today?

I'm feeling so much better than I was but it's taken me my surprise really, still feel like I've been hit by a bus! I'm just glad the burning has stopped, the aching I can deal with. This forum and you girls have been a complete god send for me, not sure how I would of coped with you all! Looking forward to the stage where they feel like mine now xx
