It's not. Those bras are cheap for a reason. It won't be supporting you properly. They're designed for fashion, not actual support. Best thing to do is try and get to an m&s for their 2pk high impact sports bras, and try a few on for size. It's about £25 for the two. But any supermarket brands are to be steered clear of unless your surgeon has said low impact.

How far post op are you? if you're early then the cheapy Tesco/Asda/Primark ones are no good. You need a Shock Absorber, M&S, Triumph, Macom etc in your correct size x

I'm actually wearing an asda one now as my surgeon said I could go without a bra at my 1 week check so long as I wore my chest strap so I changed to a low support one. I would follow the advice of your surgeon!

I had a lower impact one before as I got what my surgeon recommended at the time...
This is a high impact one but obviously from tesco, I don't really have a local m&s or anywhere to get one of them others :/
I'm 10 days post op so still early....
Maybe I should just ring the clinic, as all surgeons are different my friend had hers at transform her surgeon suggested asda sports bras!  Xxx

They do seem to have different recommendations, mine suggested Asda post surgery bras, which is what I'm wearing. It feels very supportive but everyone seems to get different advice!

Seems he is off today lol! I have ordered a Macom bra is it? Today for sleeping in anyway as seems like a real favourite
Guess I'll just wash the 1 I have with n wear it again instead... Others I'll be worrying I'm doing something wrong x

The problem with the supermarket ones is that they may feel nice and tight and supportive now, but they'll be done with in a week, stretched out and don't wash well, so its money straight in the bin. If you're surgeon has recommended them, or a low impact, no bra at all, belvia type support, then great, go for it. But if you've been told high impact 24/7 for x weeks, you are way better investing in the proper support in order to get the results you want to achieve.

Yeah I totally agree hopefully for today it may just do as my other is black and I had my bath so needed to wash it,
And the clinic is closed n my husband was no help as had no idea lol!
I know they r all so different so had a feeling id get diff answers, Iv got a few already at home so not worried about those also got the 1 every1 has been raving about now so that's a plus from today I'll just leave this at the van for bed times when I'm way over the permanent support bra period,
As there's only seaside or tesco by our caravan :( xxx
