Hunchback!
Hello ladies! I'm day 6 post op and I've noticed I've been sitting/standing/slouching with quite rounded shoulders and slightly hunched since op. Now when I try and stand up straight and roll my shoulders back it really pulls across my chest and boobs. Hoping I've not adopted a posture which has meant my boobs will set like this?!! Sorry probably a really stupid question!

Re: Hunchback!
Its the position your body naturally takes to protect itself. Plus your muscles are going to be pulling you in. Its going to be sore, but try and sit/stand as straight as you can, it'll help stretch it out, and will help the Buddha belly look less.
The back ache can last a while, your entire body has to re-learn how to carry itself. I know it doesn't feel like much, but the weight you've added will mean your body needs to re-calibrate. This is where core exercise can be of huge benefit.

Thank you ladies! I'll make a conscious effort to straighten out today! Think I've probably been trying to resist my chest strap! Can't wait to get back to Pilates!

Re: Hunchback!
I was exactly the same and gave myself back ache the first couple of weeks. I had a hot water bottle attached to
My back every time I was sat down. Once they feel less sore you'll go back to standing up right x
