I had to take off the dressings over my drains tonight so took off my concrete sports bra and strap and had a good look! It was too hard to resist and I tried on a 34c balcony bra I bought months ago when testing out the rice!! Only wore it loose and for a couple of minutes but LOVED them!! That said, without a bra they look a little freaky!! Sports bra firmly back on now ;@)

Ooh, you naughty girls!! Lol, it's fine to have a butchers at them, just try to stay away from the wires, there's good reason you're not to wear them. Plus you don't want to be caught invalidating your aftercare.

Just wait until they're soft and squishy and sit pretty in those bras, it's an even bigger smile on your face!

Oh, and wee Lou, plenty of places do 30 band, just not supermarkets, matalan ect, they'll only stock 32-40 A-D as standard. Boux Avenue, figleaves, and online stores usually have a wider size range. But you've got a few weeks yet before you need to worry about that.

Early post op boobs don't actually fit in bras they tend to sit hard like rocks with the bra just lying on  top of them, but it is a good feeling that sometime in the not to distant future you are soon going to be able to actually have fab boobs to be able to fill bras with and get exited about all the lovely lingerie you can treat them too!   woohoo      xXX

Girls, have a look [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], it gives a theory as to why they don't look as big as your bra is telling you.

Although my theory is media lies. Everyone with average boobs is a 32C, big boobs is a DD, and fat boobs is an F. All utter BS. This gives you a skewed view on how big boobs actually are. I still say mine don't look like an E (though hubs says they're E for Enormous), but if the bra fits...

LOL I was very good and didnt try on any bras until I was 3 weeks post op and when I did it was a wow moment. I actually couldnt wait to stop wearing sports bras at my 6 week check up but I now I love to put it back on at the end of the day after my boobs have been squished in to a bra all day (mine haven't dropped and softened yet so its still uncomfortable). Never though in those first few weeks that I would love to wear my sports bra again.

I'm a 30 band as well after getting properly measured i always thought I was a 32 but had never been properly measured. I have found some lovely bras in Debenhams and M&S but just got the Bravissimo catalogue today and the bras & swimwear are gorgeous, I could spend an absolute fortune though!
