Thank you for your messages. Firstly, I cannot believe I have actually done it! I think I'll add my story in the other section later today and take some photos. I loved reading everyone else's and picture trails are just fab.
The people at the hospital were lovely and I was made to feel like nothing was a bother. My admission time was 10 but we got there a bit early at 9:30. I was walking to theatre by 10:45!
I was feeling up to it so asked to leave at around 3:30pm armed with antibiotics and only ibuprofen and paracetamol! I had a couple of ibuprofen yesterday evening but didn't feel too bad other than that. I've woken up regularly through the night though, every hour or so but not sure if that's because of the propped up position or because the sore/stiff feeling kicked in, either way I definitely don't feel as bad as I thought I would! Sore? Yes. Constant pain? No.
So far so good, already can't wait to get this sticky dressing off on Wednesday so I can have a peek! Excited!!!
