what size bra to buy? Empty what size bra to buy?

Post by Blue 13th July 2009, 11:09 am

Hey girls, I have just paid my blalance today and my Ba is due on 15th August. I am currently a very small 34 a/b cup. I am going on holiday two weeks b4 my BA so need to get pepared ie sports bra etc. The co-ordinator has recommneded that with 340cc I should buy a sports bra in a size 34 c and 34d does this sound about right? Also is there any kind of top you would recommned to wear, as i have heard it will be hard to lifet my arrms up? Ps: i know this sounds vain, but I am dreading the underarm hair growth as I often have to shave due to regrowth everyday, any top tips for this, as I know lifting arms up will be hard?

would love nay advice!xx

Could get your underarms waxed.. and I would say get a 34D sports bra. I wore loose vest tops and my bf/mam helped me get them over my head x

Hi Blue

Congrats on paying your balance not long now!

Like BB said the armpit situation is a bit of a nightmare but you could get them waxed a few days before so it lasts for a while, i would get the 34D and maybe buy a bra extender for swelling.

Hi Blue,
I was a 34a/32b pre-op and had 340cc overs.
I now measure 32dd (sometimes E) but only look around C/D.
I was in 34dd sports bra at first for the swelling, then went down to 34d sports bra after a couple weeks xx

God all these things we girls have to think about eh? i swear by waxing though and cos it's such a small area it's relatively easy to do yourself if you don't fancy a salon.
Best of luck hun x

I'd say you should get the 34D sports bra.

I had 410s from a 32B and wore a 34DD sports bra.

34C sounds too small especially as you are a small B already and I would also get them in a 36 band size due to the swelling.

I couldn't get into a 32 (which I normally am) until 5 weeks after my op.

I would get a 36 C & D as swelling round your ribcage can occur and it might make your normal 34 band feel a bit tight and uncomfortable. But after a week or two you should be able to get back into a 34 band.
