getting 280cc overs worried too big

Hi I'm booked to have 280cc overs. I'm a 34 a cup, 5 ft 6 and a size 8/10. I don't want to be bigger than a c cup. I'd like to be a small c, hope I've chose the right size. Can anyone help and reassure pls? Confused x

You can't Def get that size. But 280cc is classed as a small implant so I can see it getting u their.

Have you done the rice test? Tried implants in a 34c bra??

Also have u been measured lately? So u know what your starting at.

I read somewhere that it's ment to be 150-180cc per cup size but this is estimated.

I was gutted initially as I thought i was huge but now the swelling has gone away and I suppose I'm use to seeing them I feel alot happier.

I wanted to be a large b small c and was recommended 280-300cc but i ended up having 340cc as I asked my surgeon opinion on what he thought would suit my frame.

I measured myself as 34 a 

I have tried the 280cc implants, also tried rice bags at home. It seems really big to me maybe rice bags look unnatural compared to implants.


I think the next size down is 230 probably be too small. As long as I'm not bigger than  a c, don't really want people to notice to much.

As Sahara as suggested I would definitely do the rice boob test. Every girl gets different results, I had 295cc which is smallish but I started with a c/d cup so mine are a good size now, I think I'm about an f, not got measured yet.

Be handy if someone with similar stats to you can come along and help x

With regards to people noticing...I dunno bout you but I used to wear padded push up bras so I don't really look that much different in clothes now to before x

Think I'm going to stick with 280cc unless someone else with same measurements has bigger results. 

I'm not telling my family about having operation, only my boyfriend and close friend.

Hi I had 280unders 9days ago.

My stats are 5ft 6"
Weight 8stone 
Size 8
Pre BA 32a

I wanted to be a large c cup and my surgeon recommended 280cc under the muscle. He said I would end up a large c possible d. I was happy with that.

I don't know my bra size yet as it's still so early and haven't been measured properly but I'm wearing a 34c sports bra which is a very snug fit.

Hi hun I had 410 overs and I'm a size 10 , 9 stone 5ft 6 and mine don't look too big at all they are vey much in proportion for my frame, in fact I would of happily gone a little bigger, when I'm in clothes you can't tell at all in fact my brother didn't believe I had it done haha!! xxx

Best not go too small because u may regret going thro the expense and recovery n wish you had gone bigger.  A surgically augmented breast will measure a d but look like a b or a small c without a bra on.  I'm a 34e buy look like a d. If u measure a c u may end up looking like a b!

I was a 34a/32b and u had 320cc and am wearing a D but look a full C. I was going to go with 280 but glad i didn't as would have been a c. I think 280 is a good choice x

When you say you measured yourself, what method did you use? Make sure when measuring your band you DON'T add the 4/5". This is wrong. Whatever you measure, that's your size. 

Also, no one can guess what size you'll get. One girl can have identical stats, same size implant, and come out with different bra size. I'm sure the surgeon has recommended the right size for you, but if your at all worried, you can always go back for another sizing consult.

firstly i agree with charlii on her question, how did you measure yourself?

second, i think loui is completely right, an augmented breast 'measures' differently to a natural one as they just sit differently.
they always measure bigger than they look so don't get scared by that.

i think personally you'll be super happy with your choice on your frame.

i'm a 30/32 back size, started out with a nothing-cup and i only had 265cc unders. (i now wish i'd had bigger ones put in..)
i now measure / wear either 30E or 32DD bras, but i LOOK about a small C if that's what i think a C cup looks like.

the thing is everyone has different perceptions of what a bra size looks like, so it is much better to concentrate on the desired look as opposed to a specific target size.

on the topic of rice bags i'll just point out that it is often found that your boobs end up looking smaller than the rice bags. rice bags give you a 'rough' idea but tend to come up a bit bigger.

I'm 5 foot 9", 9 stone 10. Literally had pancakes before op (32AA) and had 280 and 295. I was originally going to have 310 and 335 but he wasn't happy when I was having the op to fit them in so went down a size. Been measured at a 32 DD now but wouldn't say I necessarily look it, however I'm loving them! Hope that helps xx

I am roughly same stats as you - 5ft6", size 8, started off with nothing - I'm guessing 32a but was never measured!!

I wanted my perception of a C cup and was so worried about ending up too big or looking fake! Had decided on 360cc overs in my sizing appt but in surgery they decided 300cc left and 330cc right was a better fit/look for my frame and fitted in!

I am only 16 days post op so I've got lots of changing to do but they definitely don't look too big! Already wishing id gone bigger!! But they do suit my frame, I'm just being greedy!!!

Think you'll be happy with that size.

Sorry but I disagree.

not always the best to go for the largest implant offered. there have been ladies that actually have found the implants they chose feel too big.
its always best to try on different size implants if you can in a sports bra and white vest top.
go back and have another sizing appointment.

ccs will go different on each girl. some only require 90cc to go up a cup size others 150cc. the same size implant will look completely different on each individual lady.

also go and get measured pre ba you may not even be an a cup. you may be wearing the wrong size back best to get fitted pre ba as well as after.

take pictures to your surgeon this is the only way he can get an idea of the look you want rather than a size as every persons perception of a bra size is different also .

carrying on from that, augmented boobs will differ slightly to natural boobs, its not augmented boobs look smaller, they can be more compact and rounder (depending on pre ba breast tissue) and sit differently to natural boobs so its not about being an E and looking a D its because the perception of a D and E is different to everyone. if you measure an E you ARE an E and look like an E again dependant on the relation to your back size.

back size and cup size are relative x

I have had 280cc and like you I was first panicking I was going to be too big and then after op had brief boobie blues that I went too small. It's crazy how quickly you can get used to them. Now I'm 100% happy with the size as they look natural on me. 

My best advice is go for the look. Trying on implants at surgeons will not give you the exact shape but you will get rough idea of the size that you will look like after op in clothes. If you like the size in clothes- you should be happy afterwards. I went back for 2 sizing appointments and second time took pictures wearing the implant and I turned out exactly same size as when I tried them on.. Yes even then 280 seemed huge as I was used to being flat. I knew that if I wanted the extra va-va-voom look after op I can always wear a padded bra to make them appear bigger when I want.

I look like a large B or smallish C cup in my head but I measure E cup. Nobody has noticed that I have bigger boobs either (or they haven't said). In clothes I don't look much different to where I was before with padded bras but the major difference is in the look when I wear bikini and tank tops and this is what I wanted. I wanted to feel confident in bikini and naked.

I'm happy to share my picturetrail with you- just PM me. I haven't updated it for few weeks now but they look much softer and natural now. 

We have very similar stats. I was wearing 34A before the op but now I know I had the wrong band size

Agree with mrs ball I had 525cc and I could of had bigger but I didn't sometimes I get boobie greed but in reality I love the size they are now. You are getting a smaller implant than mine but an implant can give one lady a C another an f so that is where you need to trust your surgeon maybe see a few if you have not already xx

As other have said definately go for the look you are after rather than size, show your surgeon pics of the look you are after that way he can see there in front of him what you are wanting your result to be, his idea of a C cup may differ from what you have in mind. To get a better idea of the sizes for yourself I found looking at bras in the lingerie department of a store helped lots as a C cup in a 32 band is so different from a C cup in say a 36 band , our perception of cup sizes can be wrong.Go back for another sizing appointment & do take the pics along with you your surgeon can then work out what size implant will achieve that result, it's a big op as well as costing a lot of money you want to make sure you get it right and are happy with your result. XXX

Such a tricky one this size thing.

I had 380.... I wanted a DD I am 32E...(at john lewis) But I feel the look I wanted was bigger....I thought a DD looked bigger you see.

My tiny pal (size 6-8) had 265 (the biggest the ps could go) and she is very big 28f-ff.
