I was told no lifting of kettle for 2 weeks for anything thats heavier than 5lbs! So probably same goes to pram and iron etc.
Even hoovering at 4 weeks caused some discomfort afterwards.

Too early post op to do it hun. Be patient xx

No definitely not, you may feel fine but you're healing very much internally. Leave it.. the dust can wait, your recovery can't x

I'm 6 weeks and pushing/pulling still sends weird sensations in my boobs. Hoovering and rubbing cleaning are Def a no no.

I know it seems like forever but you'll get back to normal soon x

I'm going to have to do things from Wednesday because hubby is back to work & I have 2 kids at home I can't just sit and watch TV all day I will just have to be careful and not do any really heavy lifting il save things for him to do when he gets in, I will also have to lift my son from Wednesday again il get mum to help but hubby goes to work at 4am I can't expect her to come at that time  sad smile
PS has said I wk be fine to lift baby from 1 week with me having overs so I'm just praying will be ok xx

It's so hard isn't it honey this has definitely been the hardest part for me I feel guilty now for having it done but mum has just been round and offered to help more if I need her and I have to keep reminding myself will only be a few days more and baby won't remember a thing, he's been a bit peaky today too like he's getting a cold (probably with him teething) which is making me feel worse xx

Tell me about it mine has a cold and looks like an ear infection too, they are taking him to docs tomorrow makes me feel even worse for leaving him but he wants me more when poorly and I can't do what he wants, he just wants me to carry him round so yes feel really guilty for doing it! Not being there will be better though as he can't understand why mummy can't comfort him when he's poorly but luckily he is mad on his grandad xx

No ironing, dusting or anything just yet Hun, picking baby up from around is ok just limit and it's in the technique hold him close to your chest so not to strain your chest muscles,

Elbows kept close to you as possible.

It's so frustrating. I felt like you. The house was a mess and I have 2 dogs too.. But it's worth the wait- you don't want to risk the internal stitches bursting and implant to bottom out etc.
The weeks will fly by soon enough xxx
