6 week update from kdeee
Hi ladies
Apologies for not posting sooner- I was away from computer until very late yesterday.
I saw the nurse at Transform yesterday, who listened and wrote down all my concerns regards the ache and scar being visible on the left implant before she examined me.
She said all is fine- no inflammation or bottoming out, implant is sitting nicely and they are softened as expected. The left suffered more trauma, because it was the smaller one and was numb for a while and is still bruised a little hence the discomfort I'm getting. She took pictures again too..
I'm seeing the surgeon on 3 May so he will check me over too.
So came away with mixed feelings- so happy that I can resume wearing normal bras :) and go back to exercise with gradually building up upper body work. And a bit frustrated that the scar is a bit more visible on the left. Apparently the scar may still drop a bit. She said surgeons often place it teeny bit above the crease to prevent the bra strap rubbing and leading to scar tissue getting worse and also it stops the scar showing (as sometimes they drop) when wearing a bikini etc. So I kind of see the sense in that...
Anyway went to the shops and got some Tshirt bras 32E whoop! - they didn't have the Freya bra I liked in the right size so will have to go shopping again soon.
But surprisingly after few hours in a normal bra- my boob stopped hurting. Maybe it was the compression from the sports bra it didn't like.
Feeling much happier today about the boobs
Thank you ladies for being here xxxx

Re: 6 week update from kdeee
aw so good that you got measured etc and what a good size, same as me lol
I think that in time the scar will settle, mine will never be in my crease but thats fine I can barely see mine
Normally it is a surgeon that gives the all clear for excercise and bras though? xx

Re: 6 week update from kdeee
Thanks Tink :)
I don't look 32E though for sure. Still happy with the look though.
My PS gave me all clear to start ballet leg work and stretching with legs from 3 week post op. But I didn't do any of that until 4 weeks anyway. I'm not huge fan of high impact sports so will just do a bit more of squats etc. Ballet is off for the whole of April anyway so I'm actually not going to be doing much more I went to ballet class last night and sat out of all jumpy bits still. Will wait until May for that. A bit lazy too but I want to be cautious. Specially as my boob has been sore.
I hope my scars will settle down like yours xxx

Re: 6 week update from kdeee
Thank you ladies.
Loving the size too :) Although everything depends on the make and model of bras regards the size. I measure 31 inches around... In some I fit 32DD and in some models 32 band is too big (like Freya I am in 30F!) and in others 32 band is too small and I need 34. Minefield this bra business eh :)
I"m still in sports bra for the most of the day at work and change to a normal bra in the evening atm.
Thank you all so much for your comments xxxx

Re: 6 week update from kdeee
I bet you can't wait to see them but best to leave them well alone until you see them again.
I promise those weeks will fly by and before you know you will be obsessed with bra shopping like me and end up with tons of lovely bras (and there's never enough). I have spent £££ on them already
