Cancellation fee
Girls iv not even paid yet but everything goes thru my mind. If I was to get pre op jitters and decide to cancel, what happens do I lose all the money?

Re: Cancellation fee
I think if it was pre op jitters you will firstly have an opinion to re book failing that you may loose a percentage do the money , I think it's down to the individual clinics t&cs and read their small print x

Re: Cancellation fee
It's normally a bigger percentage the closer it is to the op. There should be some info on the website or your smallprint.

Re: Cancellation fee
The closer it gets to your op, the bigger the amount you lose. It's usually something like cancelling 7 days before your op means you lose all of your money x

Re: Cancellation fee
yop the bigger the percentage nearer the op date but if it is nerves then I know that some surgeons will actually change the date for you and this has been done on here before with a girl but she got a later date xx

Re: Cancellation fee
it is scary and a lot of unknown, but i think every girl just needs to weigh up the pros and cons of this big decision and if you come out of that still wanting boobs then go for it!
i had massive wobbles 'before' i booked, but once i had thought it through a million times and discussed with the lovely girls on this site, i was fine and knew it was the right thing for 'me'.
everyone is different of course. good luck with your decision x

Re: Cancellation fee
I never thought in a million years that I would actually have a BA even though I hated my boobs so much! I'm not the type of person who normally takes risks.
But this forum helped tremendously in giving me the confidence to go through with it and get my boobies! Finding out as much as I possibly could about everything was also a help. It also helped having huge confidence in my surgeon and being able to talk to him when I needed to. I know it's early days but to date I have not regretted having my once, I love my new boobies and they feel like part of me already.
Good luck
Xx

Re: Cancellation fee
Thanks girls, its lovely to hv all your support. I feel like if I was told that I could hv straight forward ba then I'd hv had it done by now, its the uplift that's scaring me...seems so much more invasive and higher risk of complications....got it in my head I'm bound to get an infection or problems of some sort x

Re: Cancellation fee
aw you cant think like that however its good that you hav it in your head that complications can and do happen, it makes it easier to get over it when one does happen
I had my BA done the 15th Dec 2013 then had a reop on the 25th Nov 2013 and still in a cpmpression band and no bra but again looking at another reop but everything can and will be fixed, my advice is to always always get a good aftercare that covers everything and read all the small print too, ive been very lucky with my aftercare xx

Re: Cancellation fee
Oh I know what you mean I have 2, bother were prem and the youngest was near 12 weeks prem so has a lot of health problems. worry is my middle name lol
I think that if you have complications then you just need to deal with it as it is a risk of having a BA but the chance of having complictions are low xx
