Laying on back after op
How long after op can I lay on my back for about 2 hours (or can I?) so I can get lashes done girls, I'm wanting to book in as soon as I've had them done but wasn't too sure if I was able to lay on my back straight after op?????

Re: Laying on back after op
Your nurse will advise how long you should be sleeping 'upright for'...I guess this would be the same for lying down in any situation. You need to keep your shoulders elevated in order to drain all the excess fluids and bring the swelling down. If you're lying flat, especially for that long, it can pool and cause complications. Also, you might find you cant physically lie flat for that long as it will stretch out the breast .
Honestly, I really don't think its worth it until you've got the all clear for sleeping how you like. You've just spend thousands on your boobs, to then go and possibly put them at risk for some lashes...I would wait.

Re: Laying on back after op
I wouldn't book any lashes earlier than 4 weeks post op to be honest. The boobs starts to feel uncomfortable only after 2-3 minutes lying in the wrong position (flat, side ways)
And even after 4 weeks you will need a pillow under your shoulders.
The first weeks it feels like you have been run over by a train and all you want is just to be at home in a onesie watching netflix
To have an uplift is a much bigger surgery than implants only so you will have to be much more careful than the girls that only had implants.

I think you should postpone the lashes too Hun.
I'm now thinking about putting my eldest in sports campfor the week after my op (Easter holidays) as she's gonna b really bored with me sat around in a onesie!!! Lol
I'm starting to think I need to get super organised for this op!!!!

Re: Laying on back after op
Yeah I definitely agree with the above posts! I'd book it for after 4 weeks because it really will be uncomfortable for you to lie on your back for the first few weeks post-op. I was still sleeping upright at week 5 post-op.. I still actually sleep very elevated because I'm so used to it now haha.
I hope you're okay, babe!! Bet you're getting veryyyyy excited now! xxxx
