Hey ladies, hope everyone is ok and enjoying the sunshine ?!

So I called transform today and asked to speak to PCC about booking (excited!!!!!) but I want to aww my surgeon again first for a second consultation - so I already had been told dates for April & May. However when I called the PCC was work a patient so another lady offered to check the surgeons calendar for me....... She said he has dates on 9/10/13 April plus others which my PCC said were fully booked , why would she do that? It makes no sense to me?

I have asked for discount for booking April date which has been agreed at £200 could this have something to do with it? Is she offering me the rubbish dates nobody else wants??

Oh Hun, I don't really know what to say but I don't want to read and run. The Pcc's drive me mad! After the hassle I has with mine when I changed my date and she didn't complete the paperwork properly so my date for surgery was never booked!

I hope you get to see your surgeon again and you get to get the surgery date you want babe. Xx

Oh I know , I just couldn't understand if there was a logical explanation to it or what was the point of not giving me all his available slots . Will mention it to her and see what response I get xx

I am fully convinced PCC's are the devil. Really! I can't get hold of mine for my *6 week* check apt, bare in mind I'm now 5months post op lol! I was meant to have my check next week, had to cancel, sent her an email explaining and asked for the available dates so I get it sorted, I got an email reply of *your cancellation is confirmed* in nothing since despite my mailing her twice. I really wish they would do away with them all together, they complicate everything!

Must say I agree with you there Hun! The PCC at hospital group seemed loVely though, she's gone out of her way for me a few times , gave me her mobile no. & said after surgery I could call her at 3am if needed ! I just keep reminding myself it's the surgeon I am booking with and who is operating on me so doesn't really matter about PCC xx

My Pcc was lovely in the beginning too, answered all my calls and emails etc but it all changes once they have your money! I lost my date because she majorly messed up and thank god they had a cancellation available 2 days later that they could give me. When I spoke to her to find out what happened she just tried to fob me off!

I wish they would so away with them, as they do complicate things. I will not be using mine again as when I need an apt to see nurse or surgeon I will just ring the hospital direct to book as I really don't want to speak to her again.

Lol KayDee, PCC's as the devil, I think you are right Hun. There is no need for these women! They are just a pain in the a***!! Xx

I have to admit, with THG I've had nothing but a positive experience with the 2 I've dealt with. But then I might just have got lucky. When I went to a consult at Transform I found her very rude and pushy, and when I asked if she'd had any work done, she took offence and looked at me as if "psh, Im better than you". Never went back. Some are good and will work for you...but never forget they are first and foremost working for their salary.

Who knows why she said what she did about dates. I don't think there's such thing as a 'rubbish' date, but its very odd behaviour. Fingers crossed you can make sense of it all and get the date you want!

I hope you're okay, honey.. I don't know what to suggest to be honest.. Could you ring up your PCC and ask her why she hasn't told you about the other available dates?
I hope you get this sorted soon. Good luck and take care!!
Congratulations on booking to have your BA so soon as well! I bet you're very excited :) xxxxx

Hey tiger tonix, hope you're ok hon, I tried to call her today and she was off work, although she was supposed to call me back yesterday .... Another lady answered and said she would get her to call me Monday. I want to see surgeon again before I book and he's not free til 15th April ...., hoping to have it done as soon as poss after this date but feel uneasy about paying in full before I see him so wondering if I should book on the day and hope for a cancellation or late slot x
